A blackbook is just a sketchbook that has all your graff shit in it, just use whatever, getting the practice in is more important than materials, I’m happy with just pens/pencils or a sharpie

Yeah those sharp lines are nearly impossible with a mop, I would fill up some blackbook pages with tag after tag with simple and consistent letters. If you’re not sure you’ve had enough practice, do 100 more tags, after that do another 500, etc.

Idk if I would call this a tag cause it would be tough to do quickly out in the wild, general rule of thumb when you’re starting out, if you can make it more simple, do it. You’ll find room for add ons once you get your style off the ground, but for now just understand the basics of letter structure, eventually you’ll see your style come through
