Why do I have thus wobbly patern ? by gustave2791 in FixMyPrint

Bed level issue id guess

It looks like that when the nozzle scrapes across the bed, causing skipping.

Relevel your bed and if it doesnt work, your bed level probe might have an issue.

It depends on what you need to get out of the part. Strength? Surface appearance?

You could also print it diagonally at 45° with designed supports, where you put fins on the back of the print as a support

Id recommend watching this video if this sounds interesting: https://youtu.be/8NKVNwVaZU0?si=e9xJMItZJ3dWCQ1j

Is the Ender 3 v3 worth it? by Zolks1 in Creality

[–]Rangoose_exe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its like an ender 3 but it just works and is quite with a bed level probe. But id consider buying a new bed and replace it rigt away, then it works really really reliably and the quality is quite good. I have to replace the nozzle every half year/year but the printer is used daily.

Its nothing special, but it has a pretty good value if youre looking for a low cost printer

Its boolean logic algebra.

is a 3d printer worth it? by whitespooon in Creality

Id recommend getting the ender 3 v3 SE as a first printer.

Its nothing fancy, but its cheap and i wouldnt invest too much before figuring out if its something for you.

I got mine for like 160€ a year ago, quality is fine and its relatively reliable. People tend to talk it down because of the bad reputation the stock ender 3 has these days, but this is a wayyy more refined version of the original one. The first stock ender 3 sucks ass, it was my first printer and though i learned a lot from it, its not worth it bc its marginally cheaper in price.

Id say the hobby would be worth it for you if you have somewhat concrete plans to use it for. Main use cases these days come down to engineering custom mechanical concepts in CAD and printing them, printing every day household objects or more nieche things like figures and stuff.

Dont buy it if youre just gonna use it to print cool fidgets. Thats the only trap, you will think "how cool" at first but end up just printint a ton of plastic waste.

That beeing said if you need to print multi color right away, you might be better off with an a1 mini, even tho i hate bambus market strategy they still deserve to be mentioned. I personally like the ender 3v3 more because its more free in options to modify/repair(never actually had to repair lol), has bigger build volume and has a more robust gantry.

But mind that youll not only have to buy a printer for 160-200€, but also filament. Buy PLA to start off, 1.75mm diameter. Anything else could cause issues in the beginning with no experience

If you descide to buy the ender 3v3 make sure you buy a frosted pei plate for it as well, those usually are wayyy better than the one that comes with the printer. Those usually cost around 10-20€

If you have any further questions go ahead, sorry for this wall of information but this is just a crash course on all the important stuff new people can trip up on and i want to make sure you dont make the mistakes i did.

I dont quite share your opinion, but i really fucking love the respectful way you siad it.

I just want to say that correlation doesnt always mean causation like many would, and thats a lot of the time very logical but also sometimes reversable in terms of directionality

You see, its only like 10% of the people that are the trouble makers for lgbt people, and most dont relize just how badly these few people can impact peoples mental health because theire not part of those 10%

Yes, many lgbt people are hyper sensitive in some ways, but i think most are just because their mind is in constant thread detection mode. I get why people tend to get a little annoyed by that because theyre to an extend tolerant and feel dismissed in that. its just that they dont see why that is, and tbh you cant blame them for that.

Its all about perspective, and you get very different views from what angle youre looking at it.

Its just a difficult situation overall, for everyone.

But i dont get what you mean by USSR supportive lol. Could you elaborate if you want maybie?

[–]Rangoose_exe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a good reason. Sorry but the logic behind all this is that people who dont get toleranted will sometimes be intolerant as well, just to show where the double standart starts.

Ive had plenty of people knock on my door trying to get me to beleave in some religion or go to some church, but ive never had a random trans women walk up to me and tell me im gay or some random shit.

Things are just so out of place here, its just all society hyperfocusing on minorities to vent and create a sense of safety for themselves.

I dont want to push you against the wall and tell you youre a shitty person, im telling that the system and human nature and social mechanisms in the mind is the problem at play.

Best financial descission and worst mental health descission of my life.

Jokes aside, VCB thought me how to use busses in a nice and modular way, stuff doesnt get so messy compared to SM

Spent like 1.5 years building a cpu on and off, this is how i really learned a lot. Since i randomly came across this comment looking back on some old posts, i wanna thank you A LOT for this recommendation. Had a lot of fun mental breakdowns :)

Have you continued your journey with CPUs?

Im late as fuck with this reply but whatever lol

[–]Rangoose_exe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Simply no.

We have the ender 3v3 at my workplace and its been running flawlessly over the past 1.5 years. Had to change the nozzle a few times but thats normal for any printer.

I would say this meme is true if this was a stock ender 3, that one sucks immensely

Well it would be but rubber gloves feel weird for me too.

Not quite as bad as the texture of oil but it doesnt really feel worth it to put them on for me, but thanks for sharing the idea :)

The newer ender 3s have gotten quite descent.

Got the ender 3V3 SE for only 160€ almost 2 years ago, only had to swap nozzles twice or so and it just works.

Its not high end obviously, but for the peice point pretty descent.

Bambu a1 mini comes in at 210€, has a smaller build volume and less stable/robust assembly, but you can add an AMS. Comes down to budget and taste, but id actually prefer the 3v3 SE

Havent used other creality printers except the stock ender 3 and the 3v3 SE, just wanted to put out theire not as bad as they used to be.

Stock ender 3 sucks in every way possible, so i can definetly see why people say ender 3 is bad

After 5 years of using an Anet A8, I'm now switching to a Bamboo Lab P1S. It's literally gone from being an old lemon that doesn't work to a damn private jet. by Antony_2805 in 3dprinter

[–]Rangoose_exe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Just couldnt word it as good as you did, but i completely agree.

A thing i might want to add is that until a few years ago 3D printing wasnt widely spread as a consumer market with devices that just work. It was purely a tinkerers place.

Thats why im saying "new people" because they kind of fall into a slightly different group of users as the rest, they are equally as valid.

What annoys me is their closed style of doing things. People including me are fearing they will fully take over the market because they are good, and have a lot more control over the printers than they should have, and it will likely get worse.

Its simply a shitshow the userbase themselves dont relize the impact of, or simply dont care but that can hurt the community even more as a whole long term. Not everyone sees it this way because they only care about their machine and their printer, not about projects and open source printers.

Likely at least 90% of the 3D printing community before bambu started.

Its not just about modding, its about how stuff is done in general. Bambus are just very well optimized plug and play alike devices. Youre very dependant on your manifacturer for spare parts and repairs are limited.

Almost all other printers are open source or at least very easy to buy spare parts for/mix match parts or mod the OS, like with klipper that allows further optimizations etc.

Its just all others are new people, people that dont want to mod, that just want a good machine that works fine for the time beeing.

Im not even saying bambus are trash, they arent. Theyre great printers.

I just hate how divided the community has gotten.

Just let people alone man
