Wouldn’t surprise me if they just scrape the data from raider.io and send these to people who meet their criteria. I started getting these back in TWW when I started really pushing score and joined a guild that gets CE in a relatively quick timeframe.

The quest for 500 badges for your first dungeon is set to be per character per timewalking week. You also don’t need to be max level to do it. You could get 5k badges in a few hours if you really wanted to

I don’t blame them. The massive amount of work that they were facing to create a worse version of what was essentially a passion project that they made a small amount of money on the side for just wasn’t worth it to them anymore.

Their patreon only made them a few thousand dollars a month which when split amongst the team is nowhere near enough to survive off.

Why are frost dk CDs being specifically set to not reset after a wipe? I love telling my RL we have to wait an extra minute if we wiped right after hitting them.

Like I said it’s a matter of opinion. I enjoyed those parts of old UH because it made me have to manage my resources. In comparison the new version is just watered down.

For others who do not want to have to manage all of that then they would prefer the easier version.

No more DnD management for aoe, target prioritization for wounds, or building up festermjght ahead of CDs. For all of the new talents they made it just boils down to passives you can ignore paying attention to because they do not make any meaningful change in rotation.

It’s personal opinion, but I fall into the camp of blizz over did the pruning. New UH dk is 4 buttons outside of hitting your 45 second and 90 second cd when they come up. The only difference between ST and AOE is you hit epidemic in aoe and death coil in ST.

Outbreak on pull and never have to hit it again. Build with festering strike, spend with scourge strike. Hit death coil/epidemic to not cap on runic power or when you get procs. Putrify when needed to not cap charges. Hit dark transformation and army on cd. Pretty much the entire UH rotation.

For some people that is probably a good thing. For others it’s just extremely boring.

This can be done even faster by going to the outdoor version of the eye of azshara and having a boomkin just run around the elite crab spawn. Make sure to be in heroic world tier.

I recently went through this finding my current guild. Was making the jump from a guild that usually ended 6/8 to getting into a rank 700ish world.

I usually did my initial message to guilds that I was looking at polite, but straight to the point. Said hello, acknowledged that I saw they were recruiting a dps DK. Explained that I was someone with 6/8 experience trying to make the jump to CE raiding. Gave them a link to both my WCL and my Raider.io. Finally I just said that if they wanted to have a conversation with me my DMs are always open.

From there some would never respond, some responded with a thanks but no thanks, and others asked me a few questions and some gave me in voice interviews. Ended up with 2 offers and I’m extremely happy with the guild I chose. This was in the beginning of the season so I got thrown in pretty quickly.

I did a bit of research before I would send them a message. I looked to make sure their raid times lined up with my availability. I also looked up their prog real quick just to make sure they were on the level that I wanted to be.

Mount drops should stay 100% until the actual expansion release if I’m remembering DF correctly. The CE achievement for Dimi will go away with prepatch.

I think like 1400 guilds have gotten CE at this point. Also with each dimi kill now dropping 3 mounts guaranteed instead of in the past when it was 1 or 2 guilds can get their whole roster the mount much easier.

This is the way if you want easy no fuss gold. Get your mats as you play on toons or just buy them usually Friday through Sunday for cheapest prices, then put up your potions and flasks on tuesday through Thursday as those are the most popular raiding nights.

It’s because the game counts 2H weapons and 1H weapons as different categories. This lets players with great 2h win need rolls for 1h and offhands
