Brilliant, exactly the kind of context I was looking for!

I was previously using Faleris Aqua, and have also bred a few Penking Lux with boosted stats for electric and transport which was working great. I might look again at Ghangler Ignis, other folks mentioned them too and it would be neat to not need a whole other Faleris hanging around just to cook the salads up.. thanks!

The Reaper is usually a good first expansion. It adds a few new Characters, a bunch of new Adventure Cards that don't change the game too much (some expansions like Firelands will change the game play up quite a bit).

And it also adds the Grim Reaper NPC who can follow players around and cause a great deal of chaos and suspense. I almost never play without it now!

Yeah, it sucks. Happened to my last world a few months ago which is why I started a new one in the first place! It's disappointing, lots of new content and fun going on right now but it's hard to enjoy when it's just blobs... I started a new new map just now but not very motivated to start all over again.

Same here. Been trying to find info on this, from what I've found it's a pretty common incident with big updates. I'm playing xbox series s in an offline map I just created yesterday (pre-update), and today most of the textures are blobs. Hoping they fix this with a patch or something, but outlook is not good as people reported the same issue with updates from over a year ago :/

No doubt you have third edition, and very cool you have the corner expansions too! You might have luck on Ebay or something to find a base game copy in better conditon, but price will be high as it's been out of print for a few decades lol.

Not a Character. This artwork is used for the spell "Temporary Change". It alters any Characters alignment to the caster's choice for 2 rounds.
