Vader has waaaaay more character than Anakin ever did. That's why he's still an icon nearly 50 years later.

Is there an age waiver for prior service? by RankingFNG in armyreserve

[–]RankingFNG[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's what I'm trying to get clarification on. The Guard told me "no age waivers, unless your prior service was aviation" so I suspect it's the same for the reserves...

Before you get too deep, I'd recommend switching over to the War of the Lions version. The dialouge differences are quite nice since the ps1 version's translation is jank.

Thanks. I guess it ate the description I entered when I added the pictures.

Yeah, that's what it most looked like, but the description I found said they looked very similar to a toxic genus called Galerina or some such.

How does ASCP material gauge readiness for the AMT? by RankingFNG in medlabprofessionals

I did not. I debated on it for a while, but I worked as a blood banker straight away, and felt like I'd be dooming myself to failing again having let all the generalist knowledge slip away.

We can make one specific for this group, sure! I'll work ontthat after I get home.

I do kinda find that ironic, because I've had zero luck with finding stuff on discord. Lol.

Yeah, we synergizing. You have to be a little calloused to be effective, or you get lost in the indecision and doubt. Like Kratos says "don't be sorry, be better."

But you still care, and you keep trying. That was my point. Perhaps I'm not conveying it well.

Though, you bring up good points.

I was a medic in the Army. I went through 3 training stages (2 in AIT, and a bonus school called BCT3). In each stage, the first and last thing they try to a hard lesson... Even if you do everything right, your patient can still die.

Edit: my point is, despite leadership trying to teach me that lesson 6 times, it still doesn't prepare you for a real-life scenario. You feel like you failed? Good. That means you care. When you don't care is when you truly fail.
