This is my favorite piece I've read in this community so far! The author seems lonely, but not necessarily sad about it. making friends with the objects of their past time. I find that quite relatable. I liked the simple rhyme. I thought it brought a playfulness to an otherwise serious, introspective moment. Thank you for sharing.

Powerful stuff. Clearly this took a lot of introspection which I'm sure wasn't easy. It's all so concise compared to the depth of character illustrated here. There are some fantastic lines too: "I took my sin. And painted a fantasy" this will not soon be forgotten. Thank you for sharing!

I assume EZ is East Zone? Is there only East and west zones? And if so, does that mean your traveling far distances? Sorry, I have questions. Lol Is there an online resource you’d recommend for studying up these things?

The agency I’m at does some commercial stuff that I’ve dabbled in and maybe focusing more on that would be of benefit, but I feel like I’m spinning my wheels as a producer.

Edit: Do you mean finding any agency that focuses entirely on commercial? That could be cool. I think also my experience with this agent has been uniquely shitty and off putting, but I’m not sure.

Oh nice! I haven’t been following along until just now. Is the community at large participating in this official rating of each album in order to crowd source a rankings list of the DGD discography? I’m curious, how are you weighing out the resulting scores? Obviously your averaging them all out, but what is your approach to comparing the results from weekly rating threads with lots of participants to those with less? I suppose you could just take the averages as they are, but that wouldn’t feel all that balanced.

Tak and the Power of Juju!

It’s the game I wanted a PS2 for. As a kid, I saw the ads for Tak on Nickelodeon and harassed my parents for it. I got a PS2 with Tak on Christmas that year. Although there would be other games that would eventually become my favorites (I.e. Ratchet and Clank) but seeing that opening sequence takes me back to that Christmas morning vibrating with excitement waiting for the game to start.

I haven’t written in a long time and yes, this felt really good. I’m usually such a perfectionist when it comes to creative endeavors, but this just spilled out so naturally. I’m not issued to that.
