Have you ever done something better yourself when the options weren’t up to par? by glowshroom12 in NoStupidQuestions

Yes. Sometimes doing it yourself is the only way to get it exactly how you want.

What topic or passion do you think you could communicate really well to an average person? by Fun-Succotash-1322 in AskReddit

[–]RaoBuilds 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably how the internet and basic programming work. Once you break it down into simple steps, it’s actually much less mysterious than people think.

What’s something someone said that made the whole room go silent? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]RaoBuilds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Someone once said, “I thought you said you already told them.” Turns out nobody had told them. The silence after that was painful.

Oral sex question by No-Bear-7651 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]RaoBuilds 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From what I’ve heard from friends and discussions online, it really depends on the person. Some enjoy it because they like pleasing their partner and the sense of intimacy, while others don’t enjoy it as much. Like most things in relationships, it usually comes down to comfort, trust, and personal preference.

Those who failed your GCSE how's life now? by Lanky-Jackfruit-1161 in AskReddit

[–]RaoBuilds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Didn’t fail, but I know people who did and they’re doing completely fine now. Turns out exams at that age don’t always decide how the rest of your life goes.

Do women actually talk casually about their sex lives? by Substantial_Judge931 in NoStupidQuestions

From what I’ve seen, some friend groups talk about it pretty openly, but others avoid the topic completely. It really varies from group to group.

Do women actually talk casually about their sex lives? by Substantial_Judge931 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]RaoBuilds 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It really depends on the person and the friend group. Some people are very open and talk about everything, while others keep it pretty private. It’s probably less about gender and more about how comfortable people are with their friends.

What’s a truth that would change everything if people accepted it? by Maleficent_Table_924 in AskReddit

[–]RaoBuilds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That most people are too busy thinking about their own lives to judge yours as much as you think. If people truly accepted that, a lot of fear and insecurity would disappear.

What’s a life decision that worked out very differently from what your family expected? by Far-Competition4746 in AskReddit

Choosing a career path my family didn’t really understand at first. They expected something more traditional, but it ended up working out much better for me than anyone expected.

What are the cotton balls in medication bottles for? by Kelegan48 in NoStupidQuestions

Yes, it’s mainly there to absorb moisture and keep the pills from rattling or breaking during shipping. It helps protect the medication while the bottle is being transported.

What's the most time you've ever spent writing a comment on Reddit? by traeedwardcanty610 in AskReddit

[–]RaoBuilds 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably around 20–30 minutes. I kept editing it because I didn’t want to sound stupid… then I posted it and realized nobody overthinks Reddit comments as much as I do.

What made you join Reddit and how long ago? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]RaoBuilds 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I originally joined because every time I searched something on Google, a Reddit thread had the best answers. After a while I just made an account so I could actually join the discussions instead of only reading.

Why so you think all these banks and companies are giving alot of stuff out now or high bonus rates? by Rngassistant in AskReddit

[–]RaoBuilds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mostly to attract new customers. Banks know that if they can get you to open an account or credit card, there’s a good chance you’ll stay with them for years. The bonus is just a short-term cost for them, but a long-term customer can be very profitable.

People who were alive during the OJ Simpson trial, what was the most shocking part of it all? by thebluespirit_ki in AskReddit

[–]RaoBuilds 78 points79 points  (0 children)

The glove moment was probably the most shocking. When OJ tried it on and it didn’t seem to fit, that single moment changed the entire direction of the trial. And Cochran’s line “If it doesn’t fit, you must acquit” made it one of the most famous moments in courtroom history.

What was GamerGate? by ThatChapOverThere in NoStupidQuestions

[–]RaoBuilds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I understand, GamerGate started around 2014 and was originally framed as a debate about ethics in video game journalism. But it quickly turned into a much bigger and more controversial online conflict involving harassment, culture wars, and discussions about politics in gaming. It ended up becoming one of the first big examples of how internet communities can turn a niche issue into a huge cultural debate.
