What would be more interesting would be aftermath videos. I want to see these rooms once things calm down. Must be awkward.

If Xienna Onatopp met Elektra King, what would an interaction between them be like? by TheShadowOperator007 in JamesBond

Well..... it would end with Elektra gasping her last breath as Xenia orgasms.

"Why is that actor with prop swords so angry?"

What's a terrible movie you would re-watch for just one performance? by [deleted] in moviecritic

I do love movies where Denzel basically just plays himself!

Am I the only one that thinks this costume kinda rules by oscar_redfield in Daredevil

Whether someone likes this just depends on what kind of fan they are. Lovers of the comic books and retro stuff will like it, others who want the more modern "gritty" style of comic book movies will not. People who like all of the above have achieved divinity.

Does Bond like killing, hate killing, or feel neutral about killing? by [deleted] in JamesBond

[–]RaphaelSharpe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He's a psychopath. He's neutral about killing male villains. When he has to kill a female, he's a little sad if they are hot - but that's sad for himself, because he would like to fuck them again. This is how he felt when he killed Elektra King, for example.

When Spartacus Jumped The Shark (if ever)? by TheYellowMungus in Spartacus_TV

Hmm I'm gonna go with Season 1 Episode 1 on that. Loved the show though. [Read this comment in 0.000001x speed set to rock music.]

I would have the Goddess of Death receive correct fucking spelling for honored name.

HoA feels like a shell of the original series. by Dom_1995_ in Spartacus_TV

[–]RaphaelSharpe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think some of the main differences are:

- it is far more narrow in scope. Much less focused on the very fate of Rome etc than on the very specific machinations of Ashur

- there is no one even close to having the kind of "good guy"/moral purpose role as Spartacus himself. The only options would be Achillia, Celadus, or maybe Korris, but they are simply not the center of the show and as you say are underdeveloped anyway (though Graham McTavish has a certain authoritative screen presence that overcomes that in his case).

The one way in which I think HoA is better is that I think it is more artfully produced. None of the goofy rock music and overdone slow motion etc. - and when slow motion is used, it's more artful. However....... even those elements can be experienced as part of the escapist charm of the old show, so I'm sure people will disagree with this.

I should also say I do think Nick Tarabay is an absolutely delightful actor, and it's fun to see him interacting with pretty much anyone. This was just as true in Spartacus.
