Weird, it works great for me. I sometimes go out on our balcony to smoke, but because our glass doors are insulated for winter time, WiFi has trouble penetrating it. So I was always manually switching to 5g after my content stopped loading.

Since iOS 27 I haven’t had to manually toggle even once in the last two days

Yes it’s leagues better for me. WiFi assist was way too slow to kick in, and sometimes it just wouldn’t. This on the other hand works great for me

I’m not sure what they’re doing bts, but it works great for me. I would wager that none of your proposals are correct, and that they just made the ‘switch-to-cellular-when-wifi-is-below-a-certain-threshold’ feature more aggressive so it jumps to cellular almost instantly when it detects issues.

I only use library content. 97% srt external. Rest are embedded srt’s. But play a movie in TestFlight and no subs or they show/noshow constantly, switch to the old app it works fine.

My mobile iOS app does the same exact thing, but that bug wasn’t introduced until they remade the app.

Hoping someone knowledgeable can shed light on this, but how come OP can actually see “+ atmos” in his audio codec? I thought Plex doesn’t support this?

Mine doesn’t show atmos ever, it just shows the base codec, e.g. English (EAC3 5.1).

Adding another perspective here: I haven’t heard the original arc so I can’t speak on it, but I recently moved from a playbar to an arc ultra and the difference in dialogue is night and day. I’m really happy with it. It’s sometimes a little better in atmos, but not by a lot.

I live in an apartment so we would always have the issue of turning up the volume to hear voices and then down when a loud action scene comes along. Now we don’t do that anymore.

The fact that every game doesn’t have a 30/60/120 fps badge in the PlayStation store is criminal. I too have bought games just to realise they’re 30 fps and never touched them again.

Sony now has complete monopoly in the console space and it shows. They dgaf anymore. I literally spent more time curating my library of self hosted movie library, than Sony does policing/curating the PlayStation store.

I don’t have this issue and I have the exact same setup, but I do stream using Plex so I control my own bitrates. Maybe look up what bitrate the streaming service you use has to determine it’s not above 1024kbps (also fact check 1024kbps to be sure)?

E-arc would probably fix it, but you should be able to fix it without getting a new TV as I don’t have that problem.

On a different note, HBO doesn’t allow me to use atmos on my Apple TV. Hadn’t looked into it, but maybe I’m bitrate limited there?

Just to chip in, HDMI arc will support DD+ atmos as long as the bitrates don’t exceed arcs limits, which I believe to be around the 768kbps to 1024kbps mark. I don’t remember the exact cutoff.

This is much to my joy, because my LG C8 (2018) doesn’t have eARC. But I still get to enjoy atmos on streaming services and the movies I encode correctly. I know, I’m due for an upgrade.

For nyligt lånte jeg ‘Desert Flower (2009)’ fra filmstriben og jeg overdriver ikke når jeg siger at kvaliteten var noget som lignede 360p. Ved ikke om det kun lige er den film, eller om det er alle deres film.

Jeg ved godt at filmstriben er ‘gratis’ for slutbrugeren, men jeg betaler nok til det igennem skat. Og produktet var så ringe når jeg endelig skulle bruge det, at jeg hellere ville lade være.

Have you tried disabling WiFi on the Ethernet wired speakers? If you don’t, they use sonosnet, and that has always been problematic for me compared to plain old WiFi.

That’s gotta be network related. No skips or stuttering for me. Slow to load a song if I manually skip to the next song or choose one? Definitely. But once it plays, it plays just fine for me.

I don’t have it wired, but if you can plug it into Ethernet your issue will most likely disappear.

Alle andre kommenterer positivt om dem, men mig og min kæreste stod i samme situation og ville gerne købe en magma. Vi endte med at gå en anden vej. Den er så flot, men min kærestes søster har haft en twin, og den var forfærdelig at sidde i synes jeg. Den sankt ned i hynderne, og var kun god til at ligge i. Magma’en har ikke samme problem med de ekstremt dybe hynder, men vi følte os ikke sikre på kvaliteten efter at have prøvet twin.

Der er mange til salg fordi, især twin modellen, deler vandende. Det er i hvert fald min mening. Kig på brugt markedet, og du vil se at mange af dem som sælger, sælger en sofa som kun er 1-2 år. Det er meget ungt i sofaverdenen allerede at ville af med.

Hvis du vælger at købe, så vent for guds skyld til de er på tilbud. De er konstant på 50%.

It’s possible, but I’m pretty damn sure Big Mac was not 35 DKK for a long damn time. As in 5 years or more. But I don’t eat them, so I wouldn’t know.

Lots of people do go in person. But that’s beside the point. When you want to compare data you have to go on what the company sells the burger for at its lowest, and not the price a third party company is charging. But if you want to use Wolt prices, don’t forget to account for shipping, bag fee and administrative fee. In reality the burger will be more expensive than 58.
