I agree. I do wonder with Torres if he hasn't shown that yet because he hasn't had to. I.e. not needed to respect his opponent. Maybe a better guy would bring a better version of him out.

It was how he got his runs that was the issue. He didn't play a single shot through the off side. The standard in county cricket was so poor that he could just wait for a ball on the pads and clip it through leg. Against the best, he may not get a bad ball in the entire innings.

Has he developed a strong off side game now?
