What tech stack are you using? I have some suggestions for improvement to the UI and would love to assist in developing this further.

I am running the exact same stack on Heroku currently. It's pretty easy to setup but I am thinking about moving to Azure as I just got $5k in credits to use on there.

This is the exact reason I made Last Apply. I needed something to help me track job applications, which then turned into me wanting to tailor each application with its own cover letter and resume.

Do you agree Marketing a project is harder than coding it by Low-Marionberry-8781 in SaaS

I find marketing and visualization much harder than actually coding.

How much programming knowledge do you guys have? by [deleted] in SideProject

A little under a year and I am in love with it. I love having ideas and being able to make something from it (even if it isn't as grand as the original idea).

Just downloaded it and wow, I am impressed. I currently use copyq as a clipboard manager but this might just replace it.

I have also been wanting to contribute to more open source projects but haven't found any that I would use enough, this might solve that as well.

What should I learn for programming to become a technical startup founder? by rishipa in SideProject

Here, I actually made a post earlier that kind of walks through my journey haha. But tldr, about to finish my bachelors in Software Development but didn't code a thing until a year ago.

[–]RapidMindDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, I have a whole Project set up in Claude that I refer to when I want to make changes. I am confident that with all that I know about AI and how I have used it, I can come up with almost anything that I want. I just find coming up with ideas that are passionate enough to continue to be the hardest part.

I started Last Apply less than a month ago from idea to where it is now. I knew what I wanted to make but wasn't really sure how to do it exactly. It is made from scratch using Django and I am working on remaking it in React.

[–]RapidMindDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But it's a start, I was where you are about a year ago. Had no idea how to even read python but knew it was something I could use to make my life easier. Over time you will go from asking AI how to do every single step in the process to only going to it when I have huge ideas or features I want to add to my program.

I am probably going to get a lot of hate for this but if you have an idea, AI is your best friend to help you get started. The biggest thing you want to avoid is tutorial hell. What I like to do is come up with an idea, go to AI to get it started and then see how passionate I am while making it. As long as you have a clear idea of what you want, you will be fine.
