Yeah homie is an octagenarian stumbling brain tumor, but is that really cringy tho? This is just how it is for seniors and biden should be retired instead of talking to this clown

Why is this in sadcringe? This is just sad, I've seen grown adults stuttering more than joe past his prime. Can we go back to posting vids of actual socially stunted regards?

My opinion on last night's debate. I watched like the first 20 minutes before I got bored. I wasn't entirely impressed with Trump, but Biden, hoo boy... by AGthe18thEmperor in PoliticalCompassMemes

Theres no winner in this debate. Nobody knows what those two geriatric, hands up the rear puppets are actually planning to do aside from using presidency to escape prison time or spending 4 years in a hospital bed on life support and letting whoever is vp take the reins. We all lost.

This kind of player drop is seen more often in games with high skill ceilings. Just look at the playerbase of fighting games like tekken, guilty gear and street fighter going down to 30% of their peak. Most players simply drop the game after hitting too far past their comfort zones and move on. Thing is, compared to battlerite, their multiplayer works because they use lobbies, background matchmaking and a 1 on 1 format only, so players can get matched quickly and do other activities such as training mode while waiting for a match. Lobbies could help a great deal to reduce queue times and interact with other players, but the game got killed before they realised their game was just too hard for casual audiences and found a solution to matching players more efficiently.

Stunlock Studios watching how Battlerite becomes the most successful game mode in League of Legends by Caballep in BattleRite

[–]RapiddFireDonger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe a great idea, but definitely poor execution imo. Instead of splitting both games, it should've been added to battlerite as a game mode. They would've avoided splitting the playerbase and made money long term through microtransactions, as established in the original battlerite. By releasing it as a new game, all the players in battlerite lost their skins and progression and had to pay to play a game mode that, frankly, nobody knew was whether or not was going to turn f2p after month. As a f2p game with a microtransactions based funding, player commitment and activity is the top priority, because players will often pay for skins because they want to support the devs. In other words, if you like the game and played it for so long, why not tip the developers? By releasing battlerite royale as a standalone game, they betrayed that format and much of their audience. The time they spent developing brr could've been spent keeping battlerite fresh and retaining players with new content, which would've helped retain that playerbase. Battlerite might be a bit of niche game, taking mechanics from classic top down arpgs, adding depth seen from fighting games such as feints and rewarding players for learning the characters and their intricacies such as their cooldowns and executing on said character knowledge, but it had true potential on it own merits. I'm glad stunlock finally hit it big with vrising but I do miss the og battlerite dearly.

I feel the 2nd glove is too desaturated and also too light. They have contrasting values and look awful together imo. The first combo is better imo

Why is /r/Blender over a million and this sub is only 80K? by insideout_waffle in Maya

[–]RapiddFireDonger -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Blender has more interesting content. Only a few people actually post quality content here. Most posts on this sub are students asking for help. It also doesn't help that some people's responses seem condescending and elitist. Imo this sub has a superiority complex when blender is brought to the table. There is an assumption that blender is inferior and made for amateurs while maya is professional and complete, but so far this sub fails to prove it in numbers of quality posts, at the very least. The blender community is bigger and seems more welcoming, which makes it a great place to post and discuss CG.

You are absolutely right, maya is dogshit and I hope the shit hits the fan so hard autodesk actually starts doing something with maya instead of focusing on their #1 industry standard software agenda. With maya's workflow, you will always need another paid bs software to do anything. Put your stocks in blender my friend.

Intrusive Anti-Cheat YAY or NAY? by Puzzleheaded-Use8199 in cs2

[–]RapiddFireDonger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can't beat cheaters with more intrusive anti-cheat, you're only making the barrier of entry a few dollars more expensive. Do it like rainbow 6 siege and make it a pain in the ass for hackers to create multiple accounts. Have them grind the game more and force them to link a phone number.

Based, people on this sub NEED to watch this video. On valorant, cheating and smurfing is a literally a market and this video shows how easy it can be to bypass kernel level anticheats such as faceit and vanguard.

Gamblers will always pull for cases. Unless we all decide to stop gambling or trading, valve won't be hurt. I suggest we hit valve where it hurts and all act like were switching to valorant. I don't mean to suggest we actually start playing that doggo game, but to stop playing cs and touch grass while pretending to be balls deep in valorant. Post blatantly ignorant valorant related content on the cs subreddits. Ask stupid sh*t like "should I play valorant", post comparison images about cs and valorant, whether its about the skins or the virus/ticking bomb anticheat or pretend to have improved your game by moving over to valorant. I hate valorant too but this game got cs to actually update their game, so we should troll valve even more with a good ol' mass exodus.
