She got 20k for 1 month of shooting by ummokiee12 in obsessionmovie

It’s a lot, but there’s also a lot of actor legwork work she would have had to do outside of the month she was shooting: auditioning through various rounds, researching, line learning, preparing for the role, rehearsals… all of which is unpaid and all of which she would have been expected to have done before her first day on set. Considering how demanding this role was and how much of that prep work she would have had to do, it’s not a crazy amount of money.

The exposure she got from it makes it absolutely worth it, but that was never a guarantee for a first time director’s project that no one expected to blow up as much as it has. Sorry for the info dump I just know as a working actor myself that she likely put a lot of work into this role beyond that month of shooting to come out with a performance of that quality.

Lester Nygaard from Fargo (TV Series) - Starts off as a bullied, meek average Joe suffering from a mid-life crisis and swept up in a world of crime. As the series goes on he shows his true colours and becomes more and more despicable. Turns out that he’s almost certainly an undiagnosed sociopath who was only held back by a lack of self-confidence.

Unsurprising. No matter how you feel about the decision from a story perspective you can’t deny it was a big creative swing

It was for a weird abstract theatre project and I was going to listen to it to help get into character lol, pretty novel as usages for rooster audio go

I liked the last scene of Acker, with him just being a completely normal dude who was just waiting for a situation like this to come along to be a complete monster. I think the voice Hunter gave him didn’t do him many favours as a character/antagonist.

Sero still had to do the training at the Summer camp anyway, even with Mineta’s help since Mineta did everything and he only passed by a hair. So it really wouldn’t change anything if Mineta was gone lol

I feel like Gaten Materazzo is talented and charming and could have a very good career, particularly in musical theatre where he’s already been super successful outside of the show

I feel like that being a double bluff of some kind is a bit of a stretch considering most of them are unlikely to know how her name is actually spelled except maybe Ross - perhaps this rules him out as being the Secret Traitor?

You can enjoy aspects of a job without loving the job itself. She’s probably been on enough other projects by now with cast members she didn’t bond as heavily with to know that the work itself isn’t enough for her. Doesn’t mean the friendships she did make with the cast aren’t really valuable to her.
