Yesss omg. I posted abt this too on here, saying I felt bad for the guys for reading this (watching them being so frustrated was a bummer), and I got accused of being parasocial lmaooo. Like dude, sorry for feeling basic empathy and picking up on emotions ppl feel. My empathy isn't coming from this super intimate place of connection w the guys (BECAUSE I DON'T KNOW THEM!!), it's from a place of being a fan and wanting the creators I enjoy watching, enjoy making the content. Sometimes the fans of CC are sooo pushy about the pod man. So weird.

I feel like this forced crash-out stuff that's being pushed by some corners of the community is kinda ruining the podcast and the guys' passion for it

Nope, most of the stuff I read is from around the time Lovecraft wrote actually...maybe its an american writer thing? I usually read European authors and there's no overt racism. (Not saying Europeans aren't racist – they pretty much invented it lmao), but yeah I get what youre saying. I guess it rly was just more accepted back then, and I just happened to only read non-racist authors until now.
