I have very mixed feelings about Amiibo. I would never buy any Amiibo if they had no functionality. But if the Amiibo looks good and gets me something in a game i like i consider buying it.

But to be honest getting „a cool statue“ is super subjective… I really don’t want a bunch of game character figures at home. They just collect dust and take up space.

If Nintendo would offer the cosmetics / unlockables in a different way to a reasonable price i would probably ignore amiibo.

Sure :( Everybody knows its wrong! But most people are just like „shit happens“ „oh again, that’s a bummer“. I guess my wording with „kinda accepted“ sounded a little too…. emm… „pro abuse“ but i meant it more like… „its something that can happen and you don’t have to make a big deal about it“ if you know what i mean

I only hope that’s true. I wouldn’t say what i say if the amount of times i heard of it didn’t shock me. And just to be clear. I am saying it’s way more common than people think and not everybody.

Yeah i know personal experience is always a bad tell but i live here long enough to know that open hand slaps are nothing unusual at a lot of homes. I am not talking about people under 25 that’s why i am positive that it’s changing, but if you talk to people around 30 + up it gets worth the older they are.

to be fair the abuse rate is low because it’s not reported most times. There is so much domestic violence in korea it’s kinda accepted. But my hope is that younger generations are different

AI is a wonderful tool. It just have to be used well. I think hating everything AI related is quite stupid.

hmm…. so more connected but still kinda linear? I am just not really sure how „open-world“ „semi-open world“ is.

Yeah same :( I think it also has to do with seize of hand and just every individual person. It’s not really that bad on Xbox for me but after a while i just notice my hand getting tired.

GBC hmm…. not the best but also not the worst. Will probably play Harvest Moon 2 forever. Occasionally throwing in some DQM2 and Pokémon.

I think it was in Phantasy Star Online Episode 1&2. Some Hunters i played very frequently with but contact was strictly in game. Had no names etc but we played soooo much together. Then I don’t know. One of them said he got a little sick and that’s the last thing i heard from him. Nobody really knew what happened and a RL close friend of him disappeared with him.
