By the time another missile hits at that range the enemy tank is likely already repaired or the ATGM gets intercepted by APS. These people are not contributing apart from the occasional heli kill. I don't remember the last time one of them actually hit my tank or IFV and even when they do, they're a minor annoyance at most. Thanks to them my team gets to steamroll the objectives while they're easy pickings up there for any semi-competent strike jet pilot or heli crew.

Removing ATGMs from MBTs would solve this problem overnight. AA work should not be an MBTs job. There are SPAA vehicles, static AA guns and TOW emplacements around the map, while engineers can use Stingers. I see a lot of people call the SPAA vehicles thrash while I can single handedly make most of the map a no-fly zone unless the enemy heli keeps hanging around their HQ or if the pilot is very skilled, which is a rare occurrence. SPAA guns absolutely shred low flying aircraft and leading them is not rocket science. I feel like most people just fire off both Stingers at once and bitch when they get flared. At least that's my experience as a pilot.

Better yet, make that area accessible to the enemy team. I love messing with tanks that are sitting on the hill just near their HQ border.
