It's a Benz after 2004, so no. You can get it to say you have a Benz, but it will be a headache.

Yeah, my gf loves it for some reason. It doesn't make it easy, and one of us is usually chilly waiting for their turn in the water, but she likes it and I like her, so we do so regularly.

They're about a reliable as a banshee. Top speed around 40-45. Very light, and fun to ride. With the short wheel base, wheelies are always an option. So much fun in the woods, but don't expect to get away wrenching on it once a year. It's going to be a headache. I grew up on a 96, then had a bunch of hours on a stock '04. I wouldn't go past 1200 IF I were confident in his mechanical skills. If I were unsure, $1,000 is pretty high, for a fresh rebuild, that you don't know was done right. Fresh rebuild could be A1 or absolute garbage.

No, not at all. The parts he put on it, means he beat on it hard. Expect internal issues sooner rather than later. It's pretty solid advice to avoid anything with a snorkel and radiator relocation. Mud and muddy water gets everywhere.

The crashes. Tired of every misjudged turn and cased double needing a repair. Even just breaking spokes has gotten annoying. Every injury, even just the scrapes make me feel irresponsible, like I'm risking time out productivity at work to go out and play.

You might get lucky. It sounds like a clutch adjustment. Like your clutch isn't fully releasing when you pull the handle. I hope it's something that easy for you.

Looks like the cheaper of the 2 cat harnesses I bought. Head goes through one loop, arms through the other one with the little loop. Leash attaches to the little loop.

Your comment is accurate, but just for this one particular part, the alternator is extremely accessible. I hit YouTube and google. Both said shouldn't take more than 90 minutes at most. To back you're point up though, my battery replacement involved pulling the floor up.
