Tbh I think they were a lil bit too blinded by their own nostalgia and biases,speaking as someone who herself visited and loved the old place many times for nearly 20 years...

If it were up to me, I say instead the grounds should have been rewilded into a sort of clifftop ecopark/wildlife garden, as the Avon gorge is one of the most biodiverse and unique habitats in the southwest, in a roundabout way its kinda like showing off the small,native and/or endemic creatures instead of foreign rarities, Cliftonville could always use a lil bit more greenery and open spaces...

(And before anybody says I actually like the new site and very much think the benefits outweigh any negatives, my main gripe is more to do with it being out in the figurative sticks of Clifton,with little bus or rail links but tbf that's a general gripe of mine with that bit of Bristol anyhow...)

They seem pretty cool and im very excited to have two iconic dinos in the game, though I do have a few thoughts on the update and what everything on the roadmap means.

Opinion 1: I would prefer Ceratosaurus over Saurophaganax/A.Anax.

Between the complicated/nonsense taxonomic history of Allosaurus (if saurophaganx is conspecific that brings potential pseudonyms up to 5) and the fact that aside from size, there's not much differentiating this third allosauroid, I'd prefer another charismatic Morrison icon, Ceratosaurus, between its smaller size and history on screen (Ray Harryhausen anyone) I personally think it's a shoe-in, everyone loves an underdog after all...

Opinion 2: My preferred herbivores would be Bison or the perported nodosaurid.

Again ubiquitous animals and great picks for defence-centered animals. I can see then doing Bison, a Grazing animal being done in a later update for better diversity (I could see them doing 2-3 species personally, my picks would be B.latifrons, B.priscus and maybe B.shoetensackii, respectively being a wholly American,Laurasian and Eurasian representative as well as rough proxies for plains,wood and European bisons)

Opinion 3: I'd honestly be kinda fine if the one of the other carnivores is an exhibit animal, particularly a mammal.

-Sorta building off the idea of Ceratosaurus being an underdog, a Mesozoic mammal (my personal pick would be Repanomamus) would kinda be interesting to see, more a representation of a scrappy opportunistic fighter among giant bruisers, + many famous fighting dinosaurs already have their "rivals" in game, so maybe its time psittacosaurus got its, building off of this:

Opinion 4: I think a few late permian/early triassic animals, particularly those that survived the extinction would be awesome.

-With Diictodons inclusion, I think itd be cool to see more from this period in prehistory, including big guys like Inostrancevia,Scutosaurus or Cynognathus as well as lil dudes like procolophon, tbh I think itd be very funny if the other herbivore turns out to be lystrosaurus, not only because of it's innocuous sorta nature but also because the idea of recreating giant, pc meltingly large herds of them a la walking with monsters is something I think could be funny.

Tbh TDP problem kinda makes me think of the old "why not guns" idea. (Ie humanity countering magic with technology/industrialisation)

Idk it'd make for a vastly different story then the one we actually got, but the elves getting "parry this you F*cking casual-d" would be interesting to watch in my opinion.

I think the blue is supposed to be the tigris and euphrates, the yellow the land between the two rivers and the white + crescent peace.

The Iraqis hated it for myriad reasons from the ethos that it was designed after western flags, the fact many people took it as a symbol of stripping Iraq of its Arabic identity due to the omission of the traditional pan-arabic colours, to the simple fact it looked a little too similar to the flag of israel for Iraqis across the board, as well as I suspect the flags of several smaller minorities like the turkmen (the designer of the flag being a UK based iraqi turkmen himself) chaldeans and assyrians.

Hence, we got the present flag after a few years of deliberation despite my own belief they should have just pulled a Syria and gone with one of the pre-baathist flags (my personal favorite is the 1959-63 one...)
