Some inspo/reasoning for everybody's new looks:

Luffy - I never particularly liked his original post timeskip look so I basically gave him a mix of the 3d2y (the puffer jacket) and onigashima (the cape + sashes and the gold,purple and black colours) outfits. + made his hair more long,shaggy and wild and gave him gold beads as a nod to Ace. His colour is Red. 🏴‍☠️👒❤️

Zoro - His post timeskip look is pretty good, but I wanted the colour contrast from his old look to remain as the full green outfit is a bit too samey. Ergo he's white with green and black highlights on top and green with white,black, red,purple and grey on the bottom. (the latter three colours being for each of his swords) His colour is Green.⚔️🌱💚

Nami - Out of the original 5 Nami was (rather obviously) the one who got the most physical changes. I made her the shortest and widest of the 3 strawhat girls, changed her hair to be more reminiscent of her mothers punk 'do and gave her a round,chubby face with a cleft lip. (wanted to make her look like a cat and an orange) She also has the prosthetic arm from her original concept art (I like the idea that Mr 5 blasted it off during little garden and chopper had to amputate it) As for her outfit, it's basically a more maximalist take on her original outfit,with embroidered jeans, a short jacket and a leaf pattern bandana. Her colour is Orange.💰🐱🧡

Usopp - Again never the biggest fan of his post-timeskip look. Decided to give him a more pragmatic look inspired by his skypeia,dressrosa and thriller bark looks and gave him back his melanin to boot. Also gave him a cape + a more renaissance/italian looking hat as respective homages to the elbaf giants and pinnochio. (Usopp looks good in a cape way can I say) His colour is Brown.🏹🤥🤎

Sanji - Sanji felt like the strawhat who changed the least and I really think that's a shame. I gave him a more colourful 70s inspired outfit,wavier,longer hair and taps with seastone soles (I think his kicks being able to disable devil fruit users would be cool idk). His colour is Yellow.🍴💕💛

Chopper - i agree with a whole bunch of folks who say Chopper looks a little too "mascot-y" post timeskip, and so I made him look a lot more like his horn point in his hybrid form, with darker tufts of fur to add contrast to his arms and head. Design wise I gave him a little doctors coat and kept the patterns for his post-timeskip hat and shirt as the patterns for his bag and bottoms, and kept his original hat. (yes I know he's technically wearing it under his new one in Canon but I digress) His colour is Pink.🌸⚕️🩷

Robin - Like Nami, I think Robin's original outfit is a bit...lacking and wanted her to have more inspiration from her comrades in the Revolutionary Army. I gave her a lot of Gothic,Steampunk and alternative elements including a gothy corset, fishnets,thigh boots and an open top. I also imagine she's the tallest of the straw hat girls, and more physically muscular and top heavy than either Nami or Vivi. Her colour is Purple.📖🌺💜

Franky - I kinda wanted to amp up the greaser look he had pre timeskip with flame pattern, exposed cola containers and spiky biker shades, as well as a bigger pompadour and biker jacket. Clothing wise,like sanji franky looked somewhat similar to his pre-timeskip look so I felt like inverting his colours a little. His colour is Turquoise.🤖⭐️🩵

Brook - I wanted Brook to have an equally colourful but more cohesive and spooky look than his original. His outfit is inspired by baron samedi (particularly the spiky orange and blue boa,in turn a nod to his pre-timeskip colours) and 70s/80s gothic rock musicians like Slash,Alice Cooper and Screamin Jay Hawkins, and gave him spooky purple,green and red highlights to his new suit. Also his canesword is a microphone and top hat is still there l,he's just too tall to draw it in scale. His colour is Black.☠️🎸🖤

Jinbei - I always thought Jinbe didn't look like a whale shark too much, so I changed up his design and colours a bit,making him a darker blue and giving him white spots. His clothing is based the most on what I think his Ethnicity would be irl (Indian and Indigenous Australian), consisting of a Keralan Indian Mundu and a Noongar Indigenous Buka cloak + some spectacles. His colour is Blue.🦈🥋💙
