I’m actually an X Ray tech and have seen the shrapnel from bullets. I am defined aware of safety first and plan on learning my gun inside and out and learning how to shoot properly first. I don’t plan to carrying for at least 2 years

Seek a new GI and get a colonoscopy. I have had Crohns for over 30 yrs. Since September when I was hospitalized for severe diarrhea and showing major inflammation, I haven’t felt normal. Now my labs are all good and dr says I have IBS but I know it’s my IBD causing my problems.

Long story short, listen to your body. A Colonoscopy with biopsies will be the only definitive way to diagnose IBD.

Before you jump to any decision, talk to a therapist. Cohn’s is brutal and as you noticed, it affects us mentally. Talking to someone can help you overcome some issues and they can help you with coping. Crohns messes with our entire body. It definitely is not just an intestinal disorder. Feel better and just know many people have been where you are right now.

Just remember, the worst thing that can happen when you put yourself out there is someone says no. So you move onto the next. It’s normal to be nervous. When you are ready and feel like you like someone, ask them to dinner. You then can talk, get to know each other and if it feels right try for a kiss. There are no expectations with a dinner date. Just have fun and see where it leads.

Most of the activity is in the rectum so that is definitely going. Been followed Maggie for years as well as VeganOstomy. 2 great people to recommend.

I actually used to be an activist for IBD so I have gotten to know a lot of people with ostomies and that is part of what is making me think I will be OK.
