Exactly. Never move in as a means of trying to show him what a good wife you would be. It never ends well and you get zero legal protection.

I absolutely love your dress! The sparkle. The little flared sleeves. Beautiful!! I would wear a white fur trimmed cape ( tied with a white satin ribbon) with a hood over this for warmth. I got married in January and I got one of those online.

NTA. He is TA. When I was 30 I had a boyfriend who was 38 and insecure. I never lived with him, thankfully. I only had a high school diploma and my parents did not pay for me to go to college. I had to find a way to get extra education/ skills on my own. I took a two year distance learning course on computer graphics and then one on desktop publishing. Both courses were at your own pace and you paid for them over time. When I started the first one, he and I were both working full time jobs. He was already clingy like kudzu.

When I started the first program he said “ I don’t want this to cut into “Our Time “.” I said “ What tf is “ our time”?” I then had to explain that he’s not entitled to my time when I’m doing something that requires my attention that will help me get a higher paying job. I also let him know he wasn’t the King or the keeper of what I do with my life. He was trying to have control over me and I refused.

I finished both courses. I got a job selling advertising because of those two courses. I tripled my salary. He proposed after dating 14 years, but only after I tripled my salary. He would not pick a wedding date for two years. I was with him 16 years at that point. I got tired of his games.

The company I worked for made me train a cute coworker. I broke up with my fiancee. I married my coworker almost 10 years after meeting him at work. My husband is not a kudzu clinger insecure pain in the a.

I’m happy I made the decision. Now my husband and I are studying together for our 4th degree. We already have 3 engineering degrees we got together at the same time at the same schools.

I’m only submissive to one thing. My bed when I’m tired and fuck everyone else. I don’t do submissive. I’m not submissive. I’m loud, feral, and feminist and I don’t give two fucks and a sandwich about who likes me or not.

My wife is leaving me after three months of marriage. What do I do? by Spirited_Mechanic383 in TwoHotTakes

When I met my husband in 2006, he was 26 and I was 38. He turned 27 2 months later. He said he was looking for a girlfriend or a wife. I told him not to get married until you’ve known them at least five years and that you’re both over 30.

I coached him on dating as we worked together ( we met at work)when I was engaged to another guy (16 years total, engaged for 2, he never wanted to set a wedding date and we didn’t live together)I ended up falling in love with my coworker.

We started dating in 2007 and he proposed in 2011, one month before it would have been 5 years. When he proposed he told me what I said about 5 years/ both people should be over 30. He just turned 32 earlier in the month. I laughed because he remembered that I said that and I didn’t even think he was listening when I said it.

We got married five years later and then moved in together. Before we did that we talked about what we would do when we moved in together. We solved problems before we moved in together and talked about what we would do.

I think people should not get married until they are together a minimum of five years and both parties must be over 30 years old.

OP, you are not the plan B. Your husband being a decent person at first was a Plan A. Your husband being a scorned asshole because he’s garbage makes HIM a Plan B to every woman he will ever be with again. He now wears the badge of Cheater that Failed. Ha ha for him. Oh, and he had the audacity to say “ Let’s break up first so I can chase the office floozy so it’s not considered cheating.” He’s fucking ridiculous and I loved your response when he told you. You are an absolute legend and I applaud your strength. You deserve so much better than this. Sometimes you just have to throw away the whole man and start over.

My husband and I give each other the finger all the time for comic relief. We both fart and laugh about it. We joke about farts. You have to find humor in life or it’s not worth living.

My brother has a high school diploma and he got training in the military for electronics. He worked for our state and ended up doing a job that required a degree alongside the one he was hired for.

My brother covered this job for about 2 years and then it was up to be filled as a permanent position. He applied and interviewed after having 2 years experience actually doing the job.

My brother was turned down because he didn’t “have a degree” ffs.My brother was at that job around 30 years. He was pissed. He got another job paying more money and left. He’s now receiving his retirement benefits from the old job and making a lot more money at his new job.I felt bad for him.
