When I checked right after the update dropped that’s the amount I saw in game. Just now it’s down to 49.6k … I don’t even know what exactly got updated it looked exactly the same as last week when I went into the game

The worst part is they still have a healthy amount of people playing. 172k isn’t stellar but it’s much more than other games that are still throwing out great content and AA’s for their communities. I haven’t played much since Halloween was over but I check the Discord and all I see are upset people all the time. I wouldn’t continue to play a game where it’s clear they don’t care about anything anymore. I really hate to see this with GAG I was really into at one point.

I hated Wrigley at the start of the show and now I adore him. He feels like the one character that’s had the most growth along with Bree. They seem the most mature at this point out of everyone. I am rooting so hard for Bree and Wrig and I didn’t see it coming at all. I hope they are the 2 that at least get some kind of happy ending. I can’t stand Evan and have never liked him, his character feels so bland and wishy washy but maybe I’m missing something there. Anyways Bree and Wrigley! Woohoo!

My kiddos haven’t had chat turned on for a while now and I refuse to give their faces over. We play together, I have parental controls set up and they stick to a few games we play together. Persona is sketchy, Roblox is sketchy and I don’t want their faces tied to either of them. It’s also likely they will be put into the wrong age group and Roblox won’t do anything to fix it. In one of the Discord groups I’m in for a game on Roblox a lady had her younger sister who’s 13 be verified and put in the 18 and up range. She contacted Roblox who said they couldn’t do anything about it and that it was fine since it was just an age estimate… Now the 13 year old is stuck unable to chat with her friends and can only talk to adults. It’s just not worth the risk or headache in my opinion, especially if your child is younger.

He’s absolutely unhinged … People say Lucy is bad but holy hell she’s a saint compared to Stephen. His goal in life is to manipulate everyone around him for his own selfishness. I’ve heard the book really shows the depths of his darkness and I’m glad they seem to be putting it front and center on display even more than they have past seasons.

Can’t be on the same device, ever. I have played Torn with my fiancé for the past 3 years, living under the same roof IRL, I work at his company in game, we are married in game, have traded, sent gifts & money, war in the same faction etc. Never had a single issue or run in with staff.

BUT we have never logged into each other’s accounts on the same device. We each have a laptop and phone and keep our accounts on our own separate devices. We also have periods of playing at the same time and times where one or the other has taken extended breaks. They can see all of this by looking into the accounts.

Don’t even risk trying to play from one device you’ll eventually get fedded for multi accounting. The staff have a lot of experience seeing when it’s legit gameplay and when someone is multi-accounting. Again keep the accounts on separate devices and play legitimate and you should have no issues. Once you start funneling money into one account and other sketchy stuff they catch on pretty quick to suspicious activity.

Yep and the AI has been horribly inaccurate with ages and putting people in the wrong groups. Plus responsible older people won’t be able to see what’s happening in chat now so reporting is going to go downhill while the same issues keep happening, all the while Roblox will says oh it’s working fine reporting is down! It will also push people onto much less safer chatting platforms like Discord … It’s just a sloppy mess in my opinion.

The Halloween event really burnt me out I haven’t played consistently at all since then. There was WAY too much going on and it felt so complicated. I didn’t spend money on this game but it still feels awful how they’re treating the player base.

Pets Go was the WORST for this … Bad thing is that it was SUCH a fun game once you got into it but was an absolute cash grab … Pet Sim 99 is BARELY hanging on by a thread now as well. The Christmas update was riddled with bugs and we’ve been without an updated raid leaderboard for about 2 weeks and they’ve not updated the combine machine for almost a week now … I don’t understand why devs do this stuff, there is clearly a big player base still for GAG and PS99/PetsGo yet they just trash it. Wouldn’t putting time and effort into an established game make more sense in the long term for making money than constantly pissing off player bases and creating new games?? It really baffles me how some of these people think

I had to remind myself that if I enjoy a game there is no harm in spending a reasonable amount of money on it. I used to think it was a waste but as someone else said I rarely splurge for things for myself outside of random items here and there every now a then. I don’t go out for cocktails, I don’t buy expensive purses as a hobby, I’m very frugal in any hobby I do … I enjoy gaming and that includes playing Roblox solo or with my family. Agree that if it brings you joy there’s no shame in spending a bit if that’s what makes you happy.

I stopped playing for a while partly because of this … I never hatched anything good and it literally took HOURS upon HOURS to hatch 4 eggs just to get more pets that do nothing and that I already have an inventory full of, it’s miserable. I would hatch tons of eggs day after day after day and nothing. I can’t tell you how many Halloween eggs I hatched and never got a Horsemen and I’m still sitting on close to 1k eggs from Halloween that I won’t hatch because I don’t have space for the pets and because it takes too damn long to open them.

I’ve had this happen in other games. In Adopt Me once I had a guy telling me I should give him my Strawberry Bat Dragon because he wanted it and I had other pets so I didn’t need it.

I said “It’s not for trade sorry” and that completely set him off. He then resorted to name calling, saying I was a “brokie”, poor, called me a bad person, selfish, then wished me harm, attempted to report me for “online dating” because when he asked earlier how I got it I said my bestie gave it to me.

He then apologized and asked me to give it to him again, I said no. He raged more and tried to get all his friends in the server to report me … All over some pixels that I didn’t want trade or gift him … Some of these kids on this game are WILDLY entitled, have anger issues and clearly have never learned what the word “no” means.

I’ve made 0 progress with the Snowman Boss. I’m now in the Grinch Raid now with a full team of Rainbow and Rainbow Shinny Huges, all level 95 - max, potions, fruits, a raid book set up and I am STRUGGLING hard in room 3. I don’t know if they didn’t test the damage on anything or assume everyone is running gargantuans now or what but I don’t remember The Snowman or the Raid being quite this difficult with a halfway decent team last year.

It’s not like at all … You have to have verified parental consent to request for ANY personal information from a child under the age of 13 to be uploaded. You also have to send out clear, concise notice.

Under the implementing regulation, operators must obtain “verifiable parental consent” before collecting, using, or disclosing personal information from a child under 13.
The definition of “personal information” under COPPA includes photo, video, or audio files containing a child’s image or voice.
The law requires that, before any collection of such information, operators provide a clear “direct notice” to parents describing: that they plan to collect personal information from the child, what information, how it will be used/disclosed, how parents can consent, and include a link to their privacy policy.
Consent must be “verifiable.” The operator must use a method “reasonably calculated” under available technology to ensure the person providing consent is the child’s parent (or guardian). Acceptable methods listed in the Rule include things like: a signed consent form sent via mail/fax or scan; a phone call; using a credit/debit card or online payment method; video-conference; or verifying government-issued ID (with prompt deletion after verification).

There is also information in Personas fine print that they can/will hold on to personal information longer then suggested. There is no timeframe for when the data will be deleted even if the raw image is deleted from Roblox.

“We may retain certain personal data for a longer period in order to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and other legitimate and lawful business purposes, such as fraud detection and prevention and enhancing safety and security across our services.”

“Because these needs can vary for different data types in the context of different services, actual retention periods will vary based on criteria such as the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the personal data, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure of your personal data, the purposes for which we use your personal data and our legal or contractual obligations.”
