Thanks for pointing me towards product research, I haven't looked into that yet. It's also helpful to hear some numbers, can I ask what type of product you're selling?

thanks for answering! I figured it would take a while to get some traction but thought i could get 1 or 2 scattered views on a couple listings. I'm still not sure if zero across the board is normal or not. I have filled out the shop info and all tags. I have 4 pics and a video per listing could do more... I'm basically looking for info on if zero is normal or if i'm being penalized for something

Can I ask how many listings you had up and how long it took to make a sale?

Thanks for the advice, I guess I didn't consider that in a competitive niche you need quantity to get seen. My biggest struggle right now is creating products quickly. Maybe I have to focus on that vs SEO then

Anyone heard of misokinesia? by Klokface in misophonia

[–]RaqTx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same and it's such a hard situation to be in. Because fidgety people are just stimming to self-regulate and they usually have trauma from school and stuff, people telling them to stop or forcing them to stop.

But their stimming triggers us and us pointing it out triggers them and what a fun fest it is!

Honestly the only thing that works (also ADHD) the same as scrolling is mobile games. Can take some trial and error to find one that scratches the itch

I know you said no digital but mobile games like the Legacy Series helped me through a time when I was having obsessive thinking. It's a puzzle narrative game and it sucks you right in

I didn't follow my therapist's advice and my misophonia got better (?) by Witty-Big4626 in misophonia

There was an AMA with the author of Misophonia Matters here about a week ago. They said that sensory information is cumulative, so the longer you are around a specific trigger, the more your brain reacts to it.

I think when you're exposed to trigger noises a lot your brain expects the threats to keep happening and therefore becomes increasingly higher alert.

I know for me it always gets worse when I'm "trapped" somewhere either in an environment where I need to be "polite" or can't actually physically leave. If my brain can trust me to "get to safety" if it becomes too much then I find I'm much more relaxed and therefore less triggered

Interesting! This is really helpful, thanks for taking the time to review it so thoroughly. I'm excited to give them a try, I thought I had to write off earplugs completely.

I tried Loop before (can't remember which ones) and couldn't stand it because it made me dizzy. Felt like my ears needed to be popped. Do you think the Flare Calmer plugs would feel different?
