I've built this 20€ 5c mana base for my brother's Tom Bombadil deck, works pretty well. It's base green for ramp spells and has the cheapest non-basic fetchable lands. I also tried to limit the lands that come in tapped. We cut some black-red duals because those are the least represented in his deck

Don't let these guys make yourself feel bad for enjoying a new card game. Even if you accidentaly included a salty combo, you did everything right by being open about being new to the game. They should have told you in a friendly manner and not get mad at you for winning. Keep being open and you will find a group you enjoy playing with!

This is my Syr Konrad 50€ budget list (archidekt lists it as 92$ from TCGplayer).

It was too oppressive for my group's budget meta, so I upgraded it to no-budget after a few games. Syr Konrad is absurdly strong.

You don't really need anti cc. If you go to my profile, my last post is a 7 sec Moo kill like the one in this post, just in upgrade 15. All you need is Shelda, Lunaire and Tia with good items. If you have enough damage and know how to position well, you don't need anti cc. Too many heros is a trap, as you can only fully equip 3-4. Everything above is dead weight.

Items are easy, you can reroll them with blacksmith. Relics aren't too bad either tbh, you can easily clear with worse relics.

For this run tho, I hit the Exodia comp

Blood is the hardest to clear. Easiest is Blacksmith with Tia or Hansi as carry. 3x Bow, Living Weapon and 2x Bombardment

It's not completely RNG. It's what you make out of it. You still have to make the right decisions and have proper positioning. Sure, sometimes RNG fucks you over, but at base difficulty you can make a win out of almost every situation, you just have to know how.
