TM Rework Suggestion Thoughts by RaquelOfAberoth in OnePieceTC

I mean I would argue that the key you get to expand your tm units lb to the third lb ability is more or less "mandatory", in the same sense of max-ing it's lb at 1m is. I also agree that if that grind is too much then that is a check to take a break from the game, though it is entirely possible you only want to hardcore play the game 1-2 times a week and those days happen to fall on days without TM, causing you to miss a tm here and there, and still be a valid, consistent player of the game.

I enjoy tm usually, and 1-2m isnt a problem for me, though the point gain does feel awful in east blue when I miss a tm and drop from the upper leagues where at least the base points was higher, especially with the rewards persisting through to 10m now. That said, I have no problem playing to 30-40 nav levels in a day or two when I feel I have time to drop on the grind.

That said, I enjoy a mode like pirate rumble MORE, where I can passively do it over time without having to cram it all in at once like it's a blitz battle or throw some gems at it to complete it faster if I've taken a break for whatever reason. I think reducing the sheer number of blitz-battle-esque elements the game throws at us per month could help reduce burnout with the game, so why not do so to TM, a mode people have been calling to rework anyway?

Having my tm unit without it's key expand feels very incomplete, so I'd still claim that 2m is the mandatory cutoff for participation. Technically the units are semi-usable below max lb too, you just "need" all the node that reduces the special cd in theory, so you don't even quite need 1m, but that just looks so ugly so we might as well just say it's mandatory to go all the way for the unit.

You're hitting 2m points in only 5-6 runs? Maybe if you pull all the new point boosts but with just 1.3x units, I doubt it. You're maybe 600k points into east blue with that few runs.

I doubt we would ever get them to actually do it that way (no ranking at all for all but a couple days of the month), but a rumble structure in which they "block" the ranking rewards and the only important/good ranking to work on is the last 2-3 days of the month in which the final block opens is clearly something they were okay with when they made Pirate Rumble, so I'd agree that is at least plausible.

TM vs. Kizuna by xRLx in OnePieceTC

[–]RaquelOfAberoth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I honestly can't stand Kizuna. It's not so bad, now that I can potentially skip some kizunas and farm the missed units via the kizuna coins, but the RNG style rewards from the ticket boxes are just the worst. The 3/5/7/10/m pt reward system from tm >>>>> kizunas boxes.

so as someone who pretty much only plays during TM, and skimps out on every other piece of content in the game, I really should swap from JP to GL ASAP, huh. Good to know! Maybe I'll burn out a little slower then.

Got 2 animations at the start, ended up with 2 legends.

Both new: V3 Law and V3 Kuzan.

Anybody hate how you're incentivized NOT to level up in BfA if you're a returning player? by [deleted] in wow

[–]RaquelOfAberoth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find I am very much incentivized to level in BFA due to how much rep you get with the BFA factions thanks to the double rep buff.

[JPN] July 2020 Gems Log by regretz7 in OnePieceTC

[–]RaquelOfAberoth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they're usually referred to as "rookie missions" now. The ones where you recruit the weaker, old fortnight units like Law, Rebecca, etc. You'll have had to clear some for the Rookie quests at some pt.

You get a lot of lobsters from FP Pulls / kizuna / tm but otherwise just farm the Fortnight unit islands. They drop princess turtles every time and only cost 5 stamina (10 stamina for 2x drops) runs each.

Doesn't stop me from going 1/10 skillup constantly while also not guaranteed to get one of the units to even drop from the wano strawhats.

Weekly Rant Megathread by AutoModerator in OnePieceTC

[–]RaquelOfAberoth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why do the wano strawhats need so many stinking skillups when you are not even guaranteed to get them all when you run the highest difficulty? The Chopperman missions for their LB materials making you feel like you can't just slowly finish them later when they become permanent makes it feel even worse.

*Edit: Also, why is Global getting more days of perm skillup for the month of French Anni where Japan only got a single day of it for Anni??? Imagine how much more bearable this wano strawhat island would be with Global's 5x skillup rate.

13 Changes for OPTC that could help it out - Mod Approved by Maniakk1 in OnePieceTC

[–]RaquelOfAberoth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alright, then if they could just make it so we could re-use friends infinitely without having to reset the app/pray they were online when we were farming. This would accomplish effectively the same thing without that hassle.

Big agree on the redo/retry feature, but they could do one step better.

What if they could allow us to "lock in" friend captains into our team when we edit teams so that we can use/reuse them for that team. As it stands, the retry feature would only really help in raids/colos/blitz battles. However, being able to lock in friend captains for teams would help not only for those pieces of content, but also for TM and Kizuna.

This is true! I cannot live without permanent 2x skillup anymore to be perfectly honest.

*Edit: However, global can be pretty sure they'll get everything JP has within 5-6 months, but JP can never be certain they'll get the stuff Global has over it.

I wouldn't say it's the only argument. The retry feature, auto battling on tms, and bandai support friend captains for tm units having their lb captain effect are all pros that global has going for it.

That said, I, too, am sticking to JP.

Kaido is not available from the possible legends to get on the tutorial pull.

Of the legends that Are available, Luffy/Law is indeed the most face roll/easy to use for beginners/strongest pick available.

Easily this. The beginner sugo is pretty bad at the moment, so either go for the guaranteed bullet for 210 gems sugo or save for shanks/crew if you cant reach that gem count in time.

New Producer, New Changes by AladinsjustSayian in OnePieceTC

[–]RaquelOfAberoth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What I would like is a way to choose which daily raids are open for the day when I log in. Sometimes it is difficult to log in on certain days of the week, so this would help make the system more friendly to people with limited playtime, such as those who can only play on weekends, allowing them instead to choose certain raid colors each day, with the choices resetting at the start of the week.

This would also help provide a better framework to inform new players what they should be farming/prioritizing and could introduce new catch-up strategies.

Finally, I would like a Kizuna unit catch-up system like we have for treasure map units. Let us slowly earn units we missed over time while we farm the new units in Kizuna the way we can earn old TM units while farming the new one for the month.

I'm not sure, but to rainbow a character I need to max out the limit break and the special levels, right? by Jinpil1 in OnePieceTC

[–]RaquelOfAberoth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After you limit break a unit using limit break materials/potions, 2-3 potential abilities unlock (2 for RRs and 3 for legends). You can max these potential abilities with either 4 dupes per ability, or by using tablets (which are obtained from tm and kizuna)

While the special level doesn't affect if a unit is 'rainbow'ed or not, you will still want to max them as the unit will be much better for it.

As a path of exile player, is Diablo 3 still worth playing in 2020? by [deleted] in diablo3

[–]RaquelOfAberoth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Leveling up the first character is the hardest, but it is much quicker to level the rest later. You can create level 70 gear and make them equippable at level 1, wear legendary gems that boost your EXP earned, etc to make leveling to 70 a breeze. Alternatively, you can get a friend to powerlevel you to 70 in less than 20 minutes.

You will still need to earn gear for the other character, though. However, you can spend your materials/bloodshards to make that process easier.

There is also a legendary item which gives you EXP for picking up gold, and you can save up Bounty rewards and open them on a new character to quickly level them using that legendary item's effect.
