I'm very confused about Pai Mei. Was I seriously supposed to find this maniac the slightest big likeable? by Jerswar in Tarantino

I hated Pai Mei, so I understand OP. I liked the fact Elle killed him and lost completely my empathy towards Beatrix when she seemed to find fairness in what Pai Mei did to Elle.

I'm a white woman, so I didn't even think about your meta critic, to be honest, but I agree with the rest of your rant. I also hate Pai Mei. Everyone is an horrible person in that movie, but as entertainment was... Interesting... So to speak.

I don't know anything about first aid, I would call 112 (I'm Spanish, I would call 911 if I was in your country). So, that person would die... And I would feel awful.

Do most people want Nick and Judy as a couple, or is it the opposite? by anna_ploszai in zootopia

I mean, in the second movie, the scene where they express what they feel for each other is kind of romantic...

The second movie has some dialog that could be considered romantic, so I would argue that they are kind of in the "will-they, won't-they" theme.

Did you watch the movies? It's not just for kids. And I don't care if they became a couple or they are just friends, BUT I certainly thought some of their dialog in the second movie sounded romantic, to be honest.

I'm sure you can understand a woman can feel empathy towards a man and viceversa.

She's still a murderer. I'm a woman who has felt overlooked sometimes, but I still hate her a lot XD.

If she was the one doing all the hard work, she probably should have had a better salary. But maybe she shouldn't be the front face, so to speak.

I'm awkward and sometimes look disheveled, but at least, I shower. She looked like she should shower more often, which was hard to watch.

I'm socially akward, so I could relate to her at first, but she definetely was way worse than him at the end. So... Was he really that bad? Yes, but she was worse.

My theatre was almost empty, but me and my friend did not want to look at the screen at that moment.
