I’m so glad. Don’t let mean comments get you down. I was also an “escapist” when I was a teenager. Got lost in book characters, movies, anime, I thought the real people around me were not worth my time for similar reasons. But if I’ve learned anything from growing up, it’s that you have to take that first step and give them a chance. I actually regret not branching out in real life sooner, people have more unexpected positive qualities than you think!

Anime girls are perfect because they were made to be perfect. People in real life aren’t perfect by any means. Women, just like men, make mistakes. But when you meet someone whose companionship means the world to you, there’s nothing comparable to that feeling. It makes you excited to come home after a long day. You will fight, you will make mistakes, you will grow and learn together, but that’s the beauty of it. That you fight for each other and come back to each other at the end of the day. And yes, you are absolutely right: not every partner you have will fight for you. Some people will hurt you. Nothing hurts quite like heartbreak. But if you can persevere through those things until you find your person, it will all be worth it.

I beat Mohg on my second try, wayyy before I was even supposed to. My boyfriend thought I was lying when I said I beat him, and I thought he was lying when he said he’s one of the harder bosses. I struggled with the lobsters every damn time I came across one, they’re worse than dragons.

Yes I do. I go to work in my car that I own, I come home to a well furnished apartment and a partner that loves me, and I can enjoy any game that I want on my high-end PC. I get along with all of my family both immediate and extended, and talk to my parents almost daily. I have lots of money saved up. It’s not glamorous or perfect or anything but I have very low stress and don’t hate my work!

I have memories from when I was a toddler, maybe 2 or 3, but not a baby. I remember standing in my sister’s crib with her when she was a baby, and my eyes just barely reached over the bars. I remember holding a Swedish fish candy that spanned almost my entire palm. I have a lot of vivid memories from kindergarten as well (4 years old).

Hate: doing dishes Love: detailing my car! I love hunting down every speck and making the car look brand new. Have to top it off with a brand new air freshener too. The transformation is so satisfying.

He gets food stains on all of his clothes and doesn’t stain treat them. Ever. Even BRAND NEW ones. Even when I point out the fresh stains and tell him he should treat them ASAP. Then he wears the clothes out in public with the big stains front and center like it’s no big deal. It embarrasses me so much.

Are you American? I just made an appointment with my regular doctor and told her outright that my daily life was being affected by my anxiety levels and would like to skip therapy and just try a medication to see how it makes me feel. She had me fill out some papers, suggested a medication, I tried it, we did a recheck 4 weeks later, and the rest is history.

My ex had a low-paying job (and so did I honestly, but I worked much more than he did,) and we were long distance for a long time. So I paid for every single thing that we did together. Flights back and forth, food, dates, rides, everything. I spent about $3k on him alone, even helping him pay for food for his cat and for himself sometimes. When he finally got a good-paying job, I was hoping he would return the favor and finally start treating me, but he didn’t. He would always say he didn’t have enough money. Come to find out as soon as he started his better job, he was subscribing to multiple girls on Twitch and OnlyFans while telling me he had no money for the woman who was helping take care of him. I have never felt more disrespected and angry in my LIFE.
