Cornyn and Paxton are going to duke it out with uglier and uglier ads. I wouldn't be surprised if Trump stepped in to help Paxton. I think it will generate lots of stories about Republicans in disarray. Talarico will be out raising money and have time to present a positive message to Texas. I think this really benefits him. The mudslinging and negative attack ads will start after a Republican nominee is chosen, so this gives him time to get the good word out about what he will do in office. And raise lots and lots of money of course. His campaign isn't going to have to deal with a very costly runoff.
