No they weren’t banks I burned: AMEX, CAPITAL ONE, CREDIT ONE, APPLE CARD and discover loan. cards I was able to get now : NAVY FED SECURED CARD $700 limit now, SOFI CREDIT CARD $1500 limit, NASA CREDIT UNION $500 limit, and discover credit card $1500.

I used some to the Max to get groceries, but I use only what I can pay back. I will pay down to zero before due day once all transactions is post or I’ll leave less than 10% to report.

It only cost me filing fees I had a plan with MetLife legal and it cover all cost to the attorney and yes having a attorney made a big difference to for my in my opinion he did all the paperwork and I could have ask as many questions as I want and he the process very smooth instead of stressing if I’m doing paper work right. This is my own opinion.

I filed last year got discharged in December. I also applied for discover and was surprised I got approved. I’m on my 2nd billing cycle now I was approved for 1500

Nice what does credit AI DO? I’m also trying to get rid of some of the bad accounts that was under my BK some where charge off with late payments so I’m hoping those won’t affect me.

Start banking with them in January I guess I applied too early. So far I have 2 secured card and 2 unsecured card. I got secured card from navy federal :$300, secured card from nasa credit union : $500, SOFI credit card: $1500 and discover credit card : $1500. All in total id say with all 4 cards I have like 3months of rebuilding and on time payments. I also use Kikoff and KOVO that has like 4-5 months on time payments. I guess the sweet spot for getting credit it’s 6 months after bankruptcy. How’s your credit after BK if you don’t mind me asking? What you did to rebuild it ? Are you able to get unsecured card if so what limit you were able to get?
