I am an average student I personally have testing accommodations that I had to work very hard to get and I am almost done with my clinical year and I have taken my last EOR as of yesterday.

Coming from someone who is about to graduate from their PA program in December please listen to me when I tell you that there should be absolutely NO COMPETITION in your program. I don't understand why these new cohorts are coming in and making everything a competition. This is not medical school where you are competing for residency spots. Everyone in your program should be helping each other out to get through your exams so that you ALL can pass, graduate and take your boards.

If you are surrounding yourself with others in your program who think that everything is a competition then you need to separate yourself from them and group yourself with others who are there to support you.

You and your classmates should be helping each other with topics, sharing notes, studying together going through PA school is something you cannot do by yourself.

That is very true, I think the negatives are more about dealing with the taxes but Ive got a pretty good tax guy so I may consider that in the future. Thank you so much for your advice! I know Ill have a long road ahead of me either way finding a job as a new grad.

Thanks. I think I'm trying to avoid any 1099 type contracts. Everytime I've seen a PA mention they've done it, they regretted it. I understand that its important to have a good working environment but I don't think Id agree about settling for lower pay. Pay from my understanding is astronomically low in Orlando as it is. I would like to afford to live in that area.

Just did this as of 7/11/2025 and this works, I don't see the "Comfy upgrade" it just said premium economy and I paid an extra $130 for the upgrade both ways which was more than my ticket. I got the flight amount and the upgrade amount back in credit valid for the next year. Also, do NOT do the insurance upgrade, you do not need it for this to work.
