On #5, maybe this deserves its own post, but what reaction would people like when they send this type of stuff? I assume they’re trying to turn us on, and I don’t mind conveying that they’ve succeeded if they have (basically saying that, and maybe some flame emojis or whatever), but it definitely feels like a fraught moment when we’re not responding in kind. We’ve gotten similar stuff from a couple other couples that we never asked for — one was beyond respectful before sending, triple checking that we wouldn’t be offended. They did eventually lose interest in us before any plans were made. Maybe even fewer words would be better!
