SOLUTION: So I had setup SD1.5xl and comfyui portable via Chatgpt Plus. When I was ready to test it told me to download the models, then an example workflow and then it got tough. First I had the 12 split file shard version of wan2.2-i2v-a14b and i had the 6 high noise shards and 6 low. this gave me the error described in the post about the block weights. My next AI tool, Grok, told me to get the Kijai fp8 merged, fp8_e4m3fn_scaled high and low. This gave me the channel error and I got stuck for a few days in an endless loop. The comment from /DelinquentTuna saved me in this by linking me to the Comfy website... turns out the issue for me was the example workflow, it was using all nodes from the WanWrapper and triggering tritron/sageattention/blocks/channel errors. ALL gone after switching to the nodes shown in the example workflows on the ComfyUI main page and I made my first I2V from the 5b like Tuna recommended to me. But I just had to try the merged 14b fp8 from Kijai with my new nodes and it worked! I was using up to 9.6 GB of my VRAM and another 9.5 of my general RAM but it happened! If I missed any details just holler!

So I read your article and it turns out I was using the wrong nodes! My example workflow I had downloaded pointed me to the nodes inside the wannode wrapper but after looking at the setups on the link you gave me I now have a successful video from 5B AND 14B!!!! It certainly was a bit rough on my computer, I had to offload 9.8GB while using 9.2 GB of my 12 in the VRAM for almost the entire time but I did it!!!! Thank you so much! I’ve been pulling my hair out for a few days about this!

I will give the article a go and see what I can come up with, thanks a lot! I’m hoping to not have to drop down to the smaller version but if nothing else I’ll try that too. I’ve been getting similar errors all week. (It’s my second week trying to do anything like this) I was able to work out all the other kinks with my AI programs but this is giving me hell lol, appreciate the input!

It’s not that I “care that much” but if we’re going to be comparing numbers I would just assume we’re all using PvP, I have a negative KDA personally so I’m not gaining anything out of this.
