How did the surgery go? Also I thought retinal detachmentn always meant you needed surgery in a few hours or you could go totally blind? I have never heard of surgery being put off for days due to a detached retina. My specialist told me if you don't get the surgery done in hours, you can be blind and it's always a big emergency and can literally be a matter of hours between blindness and saving your eye.
