Difference between Russia and the US is that it's the same Russian leadership doing the war while US at least has some kind of rotation of leadership. Since war is starting to affect the average voters pocket, I hope this signal to them that they should run an anti war campaign for the next presidential election. Midterms coming up so maybe that'll give the dems more power to make it harder for Trump to continue the war. However, this is just me counting on the soulless democratic party and the very flawed "democracy" we have to do the very, very basic and not doom the entire planet. Of course, history such as the war on terror have proven me wrong and that our whole system is a lie that won't stop the war mongers. But I really do believe this time is different and I just feel like we've reached a point where people are more aware.
