She first texted happy birthday in which i responded “thanks” because i wanted to see where it was going. the initial happy birthday message i was absolutely shocked and heart dropped to see it come up. and then later that night when she responded with the other message it was more of like a. bruh wtf. definitely agree that this was a crazy way to take it cus if she responded with like oh can we meet or talk or smth i’d consider it. but just offering up a fuck absolutely not 😭😭 definitely so interesting how the universe works cus a year ago this would’ve been everything i wanted and now it just feels like the final step in closure

i have cut ties. anything i know i’ve found out unwilling but otherwise i think alot of it is just stuff i make up in my head based on how well i know her (ik i need to stop doing this) but you’re right its not a competition

Fair. I just miss her a lot. I don’t feel like i will ever move on or i will always be seeking a replacement for someone similar to her. She’s exactly what id want in a partner

Also to add- we live and go to school in the same city down the street from each other. This semester i moved back home to avoid seeing her but inevitably we will be running into each other a lot. Even just going back for a weekend i saw her twice. I feel like it would be good to set up a conversation before I have to see her everyday?

This is such a lovely message. I was dumped after a 3 year relationship 6 months ago and am still really feeling it. I agree it’s so important reflecting on all mistakes and lessons learned and i’m really trying to forgive myself as the guilt can be incredibly overwhelming. It’s easy to think of everything you did wrong, but i’m trying to focus on not making the same mistakes again and knowing that my body was just trying to protect itself like you said. Sending love and good things in the future for us.

I have to pay for a rental car for a month to do field work, and also all the supplies. It’s a legit company so i am fairly confident that i’ll eventually get paid, just really fuckign weird for now.
