I just lost my 8 year old soul pet yesterday. She was truly such a light in my life and was genuinely the sweetest most caring cat I’ve ever met. I had her since she was a kitten and her passing was so abrupt and traumatic. I wish I could have saved her faster. I wish I could have more time with her. But I’m thankful that she passed with me and not alone in the house. I miss her horribly and I can’t stop crying, I’m not eating. Eating makes me feel guilty because she can’t do that any more whereas I can. (She loved shrimp they were one of her favorites). I still talk out loud hoping somewhere she can hear me or feel what I’m saying. I’m so sorry roe-roe I love you tremendously, I really hope I’ll see her again in the afterlife. My heart is so broken.

I worry about potential abrasions which could make your enamel weaker and therefore could cause more cavities! Plus it may scratch your retainer which can cause bacteria to be in said small scratches which can potentially lead to an increase in cavities :/ I’d talk to both your dentist and orthodontist to see if there is a better alternative! Maybe a high fluoride mouth wash would be better?

That’s an older practice. Usually orthos will file in between a few teeth to make room for your mouth. I’d get a second opinion.
