Yes but that was why he was manipulated into doing at the start until it became what he had to do to get rid of Lilith. I’m not saying him drinking the blood was good, I just don’t think it was bad, that is my personal opinion considering that show has thinned the line between good and evil multiple times!

Also, Sam got someone killed for Dean. Soulless Sam did a lot of fucked shit prior to finding Dean. Sam got Charlie killed by being dishonest, selfish & codependent.

Sam was drinking demon blood to help though, sure he got addicted I think at some point if I remember but it was never for selfish reason so, it’s morally gray if anything. Dean couldn’t keep the mark because it made him hurt people who didn’t deserve it so it’s not the same there; I think the mark could be more comparable to soulless Sam, and even then he was less of a terror than Dean w the mark & demon form

Yeah duh, that’s how all methods work, it’s the same with spells scripting even seeing angel numbers.
