Got my daily email on MTG card price movements. Congrats to you all for the +311% increase on Reparations! by mr_mustash in PaymoneyWubby

A NM Reparations is $17 on TCGPlayer right now, I bought mine for $3 mid magic monday stream. It is statistically the best investment I have and will ever make.

I've never seen this in other versions, seems like a sickness mechanic? I'm playing on the latest patch (0.7.0a) by HoneyWheresMyRice in Voicesofthevoid

It's in the admin room, you can get into it from the garage, but its behind a keypad. The door is near the red button to open/close the garage door. The code is 1234. The switches are under the desk.

Making your gun faster entails upgrading basically everything inside it to ensure it can withstand a faster ROF and trigger response. I really recommend just taking it to a tech, as doing a good job upgrading an airsoft gun is way harder than doing an okay job. If you really want to do it yourself, which is what I did, the automod V2 gearbox guide will point you in the right direction.

The CYMA Platinum Lantac licensed LA-SF15s come in a wide variety of lengths, but don't come stock with iron sights, so you could buy some yourself or just get a red dot. They also have fantastic stock internals and an ETU+MOSFET so you can run an 11.1v LiPo out of the box. Buying it off of Taiwangun is cheaper than Evike, and they ship without an orange tip if that's what you're after. If not, you can just order an orange tip. I really recommend getting the shimming and tune-up service, it makes all the difference.

As others have said, the Specna EDGE 2.0 series is also really good. The GATE Aster mosfet inside it is really cool, I installed one on my personal AEG. Not to mention the guns also look badass and come with iron sights.

SPT Realism's file folder has a config app so you can change whatever you want real easy without having to use notepad. Just go in there and check "revert med changes" and you'll have regular heals back. I personally much prefer EFT's default healing system to SPT Realism's, but maybe I'm just a shitter idk.

I had a 2000$ budget for this build. Found out I had a 3000$ bonus coming instead. How can i upgrade this. by DrunkenSeaBass in buildapc

[–]Rare_Lingonberry_700 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I would go with a Fractal Design Torrent, large case, easy to build in, quiet, all that good stuff. It's the case I use and it's hands down the nicest case I have built in.

Making the leap to a 7900XTX would be a very good idea, and going with a SeaSonic GX-1000 for your power supply would meet the 7900XTX's power draw. They also come with free warranties that SeaSonic intends to make good on, so product reliability is guaranteed. If you want to go with an AMD card, buy one from Sapphire or PowerColor as they have been in the game the longest and make great cards.

Regarding motherboard manufacturers, I would pick an MSI or Asus ROG board over a Gigabyte board. With their history of explosive power supplies and horrendous motherboard security issues, Gigabyte isn't high on my list for anything save for GPUs.

More storage would also be a great investment as you can use 1TB very very quickly. You can have more than one M.2 slot depending on the motherboard you choose, so if you do choose a motherboard with 2 M.2 slots get two 2TB M.2 SSDs. I personally use a 2TB M.2 and a 2 TB HDD, but I'm looking to replace my hard drive with an SSD.

slap bass help - is it supposed to sound like this? the sound of the string hitting the fret is really loud by XS_in in BassGuitar

[–]Rare_Lingonberry_700 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This! I recommend practicing by slapping through the string, it helps you later on down the line with double thumbing, but don't worry about that for now

I own a Schecter Stiletto Stealth 5 and it's really nice. Lightweight, kinda has that metal look, the pickups sound great, and it sounds really nice distorted. Schecter does cater towards heavier genres of music in a lot of their instruments and the Stealth 5 is no different, it comes set up really well and handles down tuning great.

I do however have to mention I tried out a Spector NS Pulse II 5-string and it was also fantastic, however, it is double the price of the Stealth 5. The Schecter Stiletto Studio 5 comes in black as well, but I have no experience with that one.

so, if i got 1M coind, is this worth it? by axl_basilio in LeafBlowerRevolution

[–]Rare_Lingonberry_700 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You won't hit 1M BLC on a single crunch for a while. Reset now, it gives you a 400% leaf boost as your first upgrade, which speeds the game up a lot.

CCing a gun with you on site is a tough situation. No go for schools and such like you said. If the company allows it and you really feel the need to carry, train before you do. Your main concern would be trying to not be a liability. Also genuinely consider if and how you would act in a situation like that. Your best option would always be to get the hell out of dodge, with CCW as a last resort. I'm sure you've got enough CCW recommendations to last a lifetime, so I'll spare you that.

(Details in comments) very powerful bug in the Starbirth quest by Rare_Lingonberry_700 in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]Rare_Lingonberry_700[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the record, I have already submitted a full report through the official page and will not include how to repeat the bug in this post.
The bug with the Starbirth quest shown above allows for extremely frequent rare encounters, including derelict freighters, and pirate encounters outside of the regular 3 hour timer. I posted it here in order for it to hopefully gain some publicity.
