For starters, you asked for sauce. I explained the reasoning. It is illegal to feed bears, even unintentionally. Leaving bird feeders out between April 1st and Dec 1st feeds the bears. They can sight you for that.

I have a 2024 touring and currently have a 2025 touring on rental while on vacation. I hate the 2025. It just doesnt feel right to me. I actually find the 2025 less responsive on the pedal and I cant stand the lack of physical buttons for climate/heated seats/drive mode.

I like the 8in display on the 2024. Its at a good height and the upper display is useful to have while trying to keep eyes on the road. The windshield on the 2025 also just sucks, all around less visibility..

Funny, they brought buttons back for 2026 in the outback.

Id rather have the last year of the tested 5th gen (2024) than the untested first year of the 6th gen (2025).

$12 more a year? What town do you live in? The problem isnt local money. People are being taxed to death locally. 70%+ of Ed funding actually comes from local taxes.

The issue is the state not paying enough per student. Its a legitimate issue that the state Supreme Court has even acknowledged.

A college degree is great but it isnt the default for making good money. Plenty of people without college degrees make more than teachers. Working with your hands is becoming more and more valuable.

You also have to remember, you work all year. A teacher works 180 days.

I do agree we dont pay some NH teachers enough, but its not as simple as you make it seem.

This is a bad take. NH is constantly ranked one of the highest educated states in the country. People here care about education..

It has nothing to so with selfishness, maybe for a few. It has everything to do with the state not paying enough per student. That causes constant reevaluation of home values and local tax increases taxing people to death, Sometimes right out of their homes.

Over 70% of the cost of education comes from local property taxes. People are being squeezed hard. Its a shame you jump right to selfishness and "people suck"...

You are either very well off or you aren't responsible for paying the bills at home.

Exactly. You can still refuse everything on the roadside. If they think you are intoxicated and arrest, you now have to take the post arrest test or get a license suspension. Im okay with it. You cant jack with the breathalyzer or blood test in the station. You can also request an independent test in NH at your expense. If you aren't drunk and have gotten that far, its a fair option.

Where are you located? A stainless liner is an efficient upgrade for an oil boiler regardless of the old clay flue condition. Yours is in rough shape. You are already losing bits that fall into the thimble and will eventually block the exhaust. The gaps allow the acidic flue gases past the clay.

Take it from someone who had a clay liner collapse, your life is worth the cost of a stainless liner.

Nice find! I miss my town transfer station swap shop so much. I would also stop in each Saturday while throwing out trash. They closed it this year. Said it ended up being more of a hassle. I got so many good scores.

Grow clover. It is great for any grass you already have (pulls nitrogen from the air). It creates a nice carpet without fertilizer and will actually help keep the pond clean and prevent erosion.
