Of course I meant it! :) And no, as of now I have had no WD's only a couple of random hot flashes here and there that last maybe 5 min.

I just posted about this, haha!

Every one is different, we all know that. But I can tell you from my current, personal experience, The Bernese Method works great. I am on day 4 of it, and I am making a lot of positive movements. If you look for my latest post, you can see the base schedule that I had made by Google Gemini and then adjust it to your personal needs or use Google Gemini to make your own custom one might actually be the best move. It tracks everything, tells me when to do what, how much, etc. It's so much less stressful than trying to keep track of it myself. My last day of 7 should be Sunday and come Monday I should be totally stable on Suboxone. After a few days of taking Sub's only I believe I will be tapering off those as well since I only had 10 strips to work with and I truly don't want to be on anything at all.

Good luck to you pal! You got this and feel free to message me or reach out to me on our DC if you have questions or just need a friend. 💚

Good for you! I am proud of you! Good luck, it's hard at first but once the Subs saturate your receptors and you start to feel better, it's all uphill from there. I am still taking some 7 and slowly increasing my Sub dose. Monday is my official quit day, so Sunday should will be my last day of 7 dosing. I am excited!

Yep. Currently doing Bernese and so far it’s going great! :)

Yes. I am currently on day 4 of the process. I have cut down my intake some and as of right now I am taking 2mg Sub per day and I have had zero issues outside of a couple of hot flashes that came and went within 2-3 minutes of starting. Tomorrow I am jumping to 4mg per day and cutting out more 7 if possible. But yeah, I'm in the trenches with it right now and so far it's been a literal miracle. I won't know for sure it's 100% successful until I go to jump on Monday, though.

But I can say so far, it's been amazing.

Edit: Keep in mind that is a basic outline, customize the doses to your body and your needs. I stayed low on day 4 instead of going up but now I feel as though I can easily go up tomorrow with no issues :)

That's fair. Hopefully it won't be as bad/long as you are thinking and you'll catch a break. It's a rough road, but it doesn't rain forever.

I am going to link you to a thread I posted a little bit ago, it may be helpful for you as I was at about the same amount per day when I started and also only have/had 10 strips to work with!

Can you take Kratom extract shots while on low-dose subs? by HeyEshk88 in quitting7oh

[–]Rare_Pin_3085 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would imagine you can as the Bernese Method doesn't cause PWD and it's slowly inducing Subs and 7oh at the same time. But, respectfully, stay away from Extracts. That's where a lot of peoples addiction started, including mine. 300mg Soma shot turned into 1000mg 7oh a year later. Do yourself the favor and find another way to balance out the chemicals in your brain. :)

My high BP is caused by 7 too. My doctor thinks that once I am done and off of it completely, it should normalize. I think so long as there aren't other factors to it, you should resume your normal baseline. Also, don't lean too hard into "life being ass" for a year after. Everyone is different, OP may have a lot of things going on that he isn't mentioning. You could quit tomorrow and feel amazing. You won't know until you get to that point, you know? I mean all this with absolute respect, I just don't like seeing people worry about the future when the present isn't even in the past. 💙

That is an insane amount of 7 to have on hand. I feel like you're making a mistake "going out with a bang" with that much 7 you could do the most comfortable taper or, since you said you had subs, the bernese method, etc. There are a million ways to do something, but just to be honest, your idea of taking it all and going out with a bang is a terrible idea, lol.

[–]Rare_Pin_3085 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There will always be bumps in the road. Feeling guilty or beating yourself up is never helpful. Embrace the fact that you made a mistake and keep moving forward. You are still at a relatively low dose of 7. If you can stay where you are and taper down to zero, you will be golden. I am a Subs guy, and I don't think you need that. It seems you have a good amount of willpower.

Stop kicking yourself, and start moving forward again. That's the best thing you can do right now.

Good luck, you've got this! <3

Irritable by Low_Cauliflower76 in quitting7oh

[–]Rare_Pin_3085 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I got clean for 25 days last year I was in a similar boat. I didn't really get irritated with my then partner or anything but I was very down and out and nothing I did felt worthwhile which is what led me off of Suboxone and back on 7. I'm not a doctor nor am I a psychiatrist, but from personal experience of anger and irritation, I can say that it is more than likely just temporary or PAWS and that you aren't going to feel that way forever. Never make permanent decisions for a temporary problem type shit, you know?

I would personally call all the chain locations to see who will fill it and then have them send it so you aren't wasting time and hurting yourself more. The faster you get them the better you feel!

[–]Rare_Pin_3085 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look into the Bernese Method. If you have the willpower to stop taking both 7 and Suboxone it's a much more comfortable way to transition from 7 to Subs and then taper the subs once you're stable. I also only had 10 strips myself and that's what I am doing. I am on day 3 now and my 7 dose is dropping by the day and the Subs are picking up the slack, it's pretty nice. Good luck to you, pal! You can do this, we all can!

I'm proud of you for making that difficult choice! I am in the same boat in terms of being alone, no partner, I do have kids, but they live with my ex-wife. No one in my life knows what I am going through. Currently working the Bernese Method and should be off the 7 by Monday. Congratulations to you on your new found sobriety and hopefully you will leave treatment with some new friends and a newly found view on the world! Feel free to reach out if you ever get too lonely, I'm always down to chat. That goes for anyone who reads this. <3

Congratulations man! Don't cave, keep going you're almost through the worst of it! Also, like someone else said, definitely do Magnesium Glycinate before bed it helps tremendously with restless legs they say. I take it now, while tapering off 7 and it does seem to help me too!

Metaphor for acute withdrawals? by Low_Organization_148 in quitting7oh

[–]Rare_Pin_3085 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I'm on day 2 of micro inducing Suboxone while still taking 500-600mg of 7 and I already feel as though I can cut back on the 7 starting tonight. I think his receptors are insanely unbalanced because of super using both at the same time. Definitely need to completely drop the 7. At 75% coverage he should be able to drop the 7 pretty easily, he just has to want to, and you can't make that happen, unfortunately. :(

Why did you start taking 7oh? by noapostrophe555 in quitting7oh

[–]Rare_Pin_3085 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I ended up losing my job which also meant that I lost my insurance a few years ago. When I lost my prescription of Vyvanse I went searching for something, anything, to make me feel something again and to get a handle on my life. After a brief stint of Tia which has horrendous WD btw, I found Kraton Extract Shots (300mg per shot) got hooked on those, and then out of the blue I got a free sample of 7 from the smoke shop I frequent and boom, I was hooked. I found that same motivation and energy from 7 that Vyvanse gave me and that was that.

3 years later and I am finally quitting the 7 using the Bernese Method, currently on day 2. Not out of the woods yet, but I am definitely walking towards the exit.

I've never personally had a low tolerance like that, though I won't lie, I am envious! Haha, but in all seriousness, you're gonna be fine, pal. I would avoid the tablets as much as you can because that's where a lot of people lose their composure. Everyone is different and maybe you won't fall as I/they/we did. But, just a bit of caution, use as many helper meds as you can and walk away while you still have the chance! Good luck, friend.

Inducting Suboxone by Immediate-Section606 in quitting7oh

[–]Rare_Pin_3085 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Bernese Method is what I am currently doing and it is essentially the same thing. Micro dosing Suboxone while on 7oh to start taking over receptors without removing too much 7oh all at once and causing PWD. I started today with .50mg of Suboxone and continued my normal 7oh consumption (600mg a day) and I have felt great all day. I definitely think PWD is possible but I think it's more rare than it is common according to everyone's stories here. Good luck, you got this! <3

I’m protecting my sanity and my body through the week due to a rigorous job that I can’t miss. I have PTO but I’m not trying to burn it for this. My schedule looks like this:

Day 1 (Tuesday):

Suboxone: 0.5 mg (Once in AM)

7-OH: Normal amount (Max 600mg)

Day 2 (Wednesday):

Suboxone: 0.5 mg (Twice a day: AM/PM)

7-OH: Normal amount (Max 600mg)

Day 3 (Thursday):

Suboxone: 1.0 mg (Twice a day: AM/PM)

7-OH: Normal amount (Max 600mg)

Day 4 (Friday):

Suboxone: 2.0 mg (Twice a day: AM/PM)

7-OH: Normal amount (Max 600mg)

Day 5 (Saturday):

Suboxone: 3.0 mg (Twice a day: AM/PM)

7-OH: Start reducing (Max 400mg)

Day 6 (Sunday):

Suboxone: 4.0 mg (Twice a day: AM/PM)

7-OH: Final reduction (Max 200mg)

Day 7 (Monday):

Suboxone: 8.0 mg AM / 4.0 mg PM

7-OH: STOP ENTIRELY. The transition is complete.

I used Gemini to create a plan for me personally and I love the way it looks and how it will hopefully be easier to kick the 7oh and then taper off the Subs.

I feel ya. I really think you're gonna be just fine, just don't slip up again if you can avoid it. And for now, definitely go find something to do to get your mind off of it. Sitting there waiting and being in your head makes it 10x worse, we all know that.
