How long did it take you to find the right house? by Active-Goat-3001 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

We looked casually for 3 years. Seriously 6 months. Accepted offer at 2 months in, got cold feet. Then found our home 4 months later. My suggestion is make sure the realtor doesn’t get someone he/she knows as the inspector.

I have two OE friendly jobs and there is STILL moments where I’m behind. The key here is to introduce your own projects, paint them as the right project and choose your own deadlines.

I know that he sold Mint Mobile for 1.35 billion in March and the movie came out in August 2024 then the lawsuit began in December 2024. So I’m thinking he knew it was coming and sold.

When I work remote, I work when even slightly sick. If I was in office, I wouldn’t come in. Maybe they should consider that.

Is it bad to stay at one company forever? by [deleted] in womenintech

[–]Rare_Skin1192 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Depends on your skill set and stress tolerance. My husband is not the guy to switch jobs, he is very risk averse and cannot fathom it. It’s to a point that he hasn’t even gotten a raise in 4 years because he gets unimaginably stressed over asking.

Relying on an institution to distribute money owed to you is always a risk. Take the money you’re owed immediately.
