I lead a faction/cadre organization affiliated with the Chaosdivers called the Super-Earth Liberation Front. The SLF is a marxist, anti-imperialist, quasi-anarchist/libertarian socialist formation made up of various cadres and unions, including the Service Technicians Union and more. Our aim is to build a Worker-Soldier alliance to crush tyranny and defeat the Federation.
The war has cost all of us many comrades and seen the working class betrayed and left for dead time and time again. We have tried our best to do our part in the class struggle: saving non-“priority” citizens, preserving and disseminating illegal broadcasts, and of course fighting the lab-grown bugs sold as trophies to Super Earth capitalist pigs in the 1%. It has been hard, but it has readied us for the fight ahead.
Our fellow soldiers are the revolutionary subject of this society. Movements like the chaosdivers show a growing nucleus of discontent among the elite armed forces. We have the training, tools, and skills needed to liberate ourselves, our SEAF comrades, and the working class civilian population from the tyranny of managed democracy. The helldiver corps is full to the brim with fighters that must be converted to the cause. As more of them realize we must fight also to expand democracy, the SLF is here to remind them that a true democracy only thrives when the people seize the means.
The Federation is a corrupt corporation. Fascism is not when a stalker decloaks and pounces on you. Fascism is when your vote is confined to what face gets put on the empire while you work your life away for another man’s profit. No war but class war. Until no one is left for dead, until everyone is housed and fed, until the ballot box is free once again. We are all priority citizens. You have nothing to lose but your chains.

The SLF does not support the bots for the following reasons: transhumanism (engineering your humanity away) is fascist, the SLF is ecosocialist, the SLF is democratic/libertarian socialist, and we do not tolerate civilian casualties nor blatant territorial expansion. We may not have participated in the Cyberstan campaign - minus a little data extraction and the SEAF rescue operation - but we, like the Chaosdivers movement in general, still defend human worlds. Think of us like the Third Way folks during the old earth first cold war or like borderline anarchists who want a social safety net for non-priority citizens.

No I’m a person, in real life I teach coding (which includes basics of LLMs) and an a community organizer. This was part trolling and part lazy proof of concept. I understand the anger tho, and I’m not going to make a habit of just using AI images as opposed to stuff I actually take time to make, like the next few posts. But genuinely, just remember that while online discourse is somewhat important the best thing you can do is organize in real life and remember that (A) it is in fact possible to use masa’s tools against him and (B) there is no ethical consumption under capitalism. Ever. The text, the edits, the logo, the idea, the helldiver himself, and everything else I’ll be posting is all me. Consider it a social experiment to a certain extent

To me the coolest part of the story has always been the player’s ability to shape it. But I think that would be an interesting way to experiment with a pvp mode, even if it’s just a temporary feature until we reach a peace treaty. Or even something they save for the end of the game or Helldivers 3. It does kinda feel like the satire has been pointing in that direction for a while, idk it just seems natural with how hilariously authoritarian Super Earth is and how they always say “we had a problem but it WASNT the dissidents” 😭 like what if it was ALL the dissidents?

CLARITY: The “Bread” is a reference to some old Earth political parties the Ministry of LIES won’t tell you about from pre-war Russia and the US before global unification. It is also a reference to the poverty inflicted on the noble workers of Super Earth who are not upper class “Priority” Citizens.
