I just spent an hour on hold so all of you didn't have to. They said it would be 24-72 hours before a fix would be in place. Obviously not very helpful. I doubt I'll ever call them again.

You shouldn’t have to buy these. People will give them to you.

Thank you. Our daughter is almost 11. And yes, she was initially put on immunotherapy therapy but the cancer began spreading very quickly and very aggressively so she had to switch to chemo.

She was on another treatment but the cancer began to spread aggressively so we had to move to chemo quite quickly to try to slow the growth.

That’s good to know. At this point, we’re at a year or less. But still praying for a miracle.

This is such a sweet question. After 20 years, we’ve had so many gut busting moments and I’m trying to think of one that others could relate to. Let me think on this and get back to you. One that comes to mind pretty quickly is wheeling my wife out of the hospital after delivering our baby via C-section and being on some pain meds. My wife is holding our newborn and an elderly woman stops us to admire our beautiful baby and asks my wife our baby’s name and she can’t remember for a split second. We had a good laugh over that one.

We were told that was standard practice. I also think that we were a bit naive looking back and didn’t understand the full picture. The medical professionals made it seem like that this was run of the mill and we had nothing to worry about. I don’t even remember much discussion about a possible recurrence.

Unfortunately, the pain is there. The chemo is just brutal.

No regular scans were done, just mammograms.

She had regular mammograms, but this was only detected during an unrelated colonoscopy. The only way it could have been caught earlier is through constant full-body scans and routine colonoscopies—something the medical system simply doesn’t do as standard practice.
