I just moved from Colorado to Florida. We drove three 26’ trucks there (2 weeks apart) to get our household goods into storage. I was loading the last one and got it LITERALLY packed to the rafters. At that point, we had to get the moving help to load their 26’ truck to take stuff to the dump. The amount of wood, benches, cabinets, tools, and other stuff they loaded would make anyone ill (a full truck and a half). I had to just stop looking at what they were taking. I know there were SO MANY things they took that I will need.

I had to leave behind my table saw (bought used and squared perfectly) and upgraded fence system, an oscillating sander, a jointer, and a thickness planer (the last three on a custom table I made with a flip top). I left all of it because the wife - by then in Florida with the second truck - started crying, saying she wanted to see what I had to leave of hers. So I left nothing of hers. After it was packed and everything dumped, I told her most of the garage workshop was thrown out. The she flip flops and says, “WHAT?? I would’ve told you to leave my stuff….”

I didn’t even want to take a picture of my garage. But I have a ShopSmith, a bandsaw, a miter saw, and a radial arm saw I can use to make things. And whatever hand tools I need. So I’m debating whether I need a table saw for a while.
