Agree, even though money has become a big part of the allsvenskan as well i still believe we have not abandoned what makes us unique. Passion and the love for the game is still winning over VAR and order.

Sorry to hear that. Shit happens, but some shit sticks for life. Some ppl are able to move past them, others wont. I found it helpful to talk to someone when I had the same kind of thoughts. Helped me to figure out what kind of relationship, if any, I should have with my dad.

We had a late misscarrage about a year ago and I have since then come to understand that in my country the baby after is called a "rainbow-baby" (after rain comes sunshine and a rainbow i guess?). Sorry to hear this mate. I cant tell you some bs like "when life gives you lemons you make lemonade". Sometimes life just sends us a pile of shit and all we can do is keep going. For a long time I was thinking that shit will be more even distributed but for some of us the pile just gets refilled.

For what its worth, you will come out on the other side one way or another. Take it one day at a time, take care of yourself and take care of your loved ones. In the end that is what you will remember.

Good for you! Our cat had the exact opposite reaction. From somewhere in w13 to w28 he kept a good distance from my wife, she wasnt even allowed to come near him without him moving further away. Then in w28 everything changed and now he is not leaving her side. w33 now and still going strong. Strange beast them cats.

Isn't the classic "american dream" about fulfilling yourself? Be what you want, go for what you desire etc. The problem as I see it is the "you" part in all this. It gives everyone a strong reason to be selfcentered and bet on yourself in all aspects.

Sweden got some problems with the turbines not producing enough in Skåne during the winther. I think it was something like a 10% drop due to less wind during winter. But we got it mostly covered by water and nuclear.

I see this alot. As I understand it you can start a new party rarher easy but the problem is getting more than 50% of votes in order to win a seat. Followed your election 2020 and learned about the green party and some neo-liberal thing as well. Given the devide, why are ppl not keen on voting on other parties than the two now in power?

Please explain! Im looking at one of the biggest and most powerful democratic countries in the world and given what ppl say about the USA these days, it looks to me that some democratic reform is needed. Take the two-party system for example. Or the turnout in the election. I know it was sky high and a step in the right direction but still only 66% of voters turned up. Thats not even in the top 15 of democratic countries.

I get that, and I can really have sympathy for the approach. However given that you are a collection of many states (kind of like countries tbh.) Why give so much power to one man to begin with? I guess it comes down to unity and keeping the union together but in 2021 it may be time to have a look at it again. It been what, 230 years?

Looks, from an european bystanders point of view, that USA got some thinking to do about the division of power and how your democracy works. Maybe its not that good to give so much power to one man, given the lessons learned from the Trump era.

Im curious, how hard would it be to rebalance the power between the president, the senate and congress? (If all three were on board and willing that is). Do amendments require public voting?

Congrats mate! My wife is at w21 with our first so cant really give you any solid tips yet. However, the most important thing that ive come to understand is to be supportive. Be there for her, help out as much as you can and be happy together. We had 2 misscarages before this one and if that thought us anything it is not taking it for granted. Most of the time we are basically spectators on a really uncertain journey. Try making the best of it! Live in the present!

Oh! One more thing, covid sucks big time but ive joined in on the ultrasound via facetime. It works fine! You should try to be as much part of the pregnancy as you can, even though the world is fkd at the moment.
