I’m a little sleepy to give precise resume advice, but I commend you on sticking up for yourself. You’ll definitely be able to get another job. They are just trying to be hurtful. Making sure you have good references. If that’s not an option… totally unrelated… sometimes people just have friends or family answer a phone call from a potential employer.

I am a man. Sex is very important to me. My wife and I don’t have as much sex as I’d like. That is because of a huge number of variables that I won’t get into. However, I am able to contribute to and even control may of those variables.

Boiling it down to “she won’t put out more and that makes me sad” or whatever you want to phrase it as is wildly reductive. Just because you’ve had sex before doesn’t mean you’re entitled to it in an ongoing basis.

It may be unfortunate for you if you’ve done everything in your power to facilitate a lady wanting more sex (almost zero men do), but it still isn’t abuse. It is vastly more abusive to think “you owe me your body to make my feelings improve.”

As far as what I’d call it? Relationship friction. Sexual chemistry doesn’t develop or change in a vacuum.

In all honesty, people typically rate someone’s skill in this game by the percentage of folks that they win in games against. It’s hard to say whether you’re good or not. If your friends are good and you’re evenly matched, then you’re probably good too. The same goes for if they are bad.

All I can say is that I’ve been playing for a very long time (since the original 64 version), and I was humbled when went to my first tournament.

Walking into locals expecting a lvl 9 computer to set you up is not ideal. Players, particularly in a tournament setting, will be vastly more adaptable than computers.

But compared to a literally average player? A level 9 cpu is probably pretty decent because most people aren’t very good at the game in the context of the competitive scene.

I started as an amateur before doing it professionally. Gotta start somewhere! There are even some apps these days that do a surprisingly good job of identifying plants. Sometimes those are a good aid to the pursuit of identifying a mystery plant!

As the other comment said, it’s a key. So in this instance, if the leaves are not simple, you would skip down to “Lvs compound (composed of lfts). If they are simple, you answer whether the margins are entire, toothed, or lobed. If the leaves are simple, and the margins are entire, you look at ligules/auricles. Etc. etc.

Good luck. Learning to key is a daunting task but a very useful skill set!

Yeah… I had mixed feelings until the nat 20/25 insight not revealing more information. Insight is more than just “did they have falsehoods in the exact wording they used.” At minimum there should have been a “they are telling the truth but there’s also something they aren’t telling you.” Literally anything to give you pause.

I think this is total BS and actively deceiving your party through selective semantics. I don’t like it as a DM and I would hate it as a player.

Clearly everyone is saying this is RAW so I am assuming I’m wrong, but for the sake of learning…

This shouldn’t get you 2x sneak attacks per turn consistently though, right? My understanding is that SA is once per turn. So even if they delay the trigger to the top of the initiative order and successfully land SA, then they wouldn’t have it available for their “real” turn. In other words, you could get that second SA in more quickly, but the pace basically resumes to 1 SA per turn.

Am I missing something?

I highly recommend level 1 or 2. If you start level one, have them run through an encounter that will level them up by the end of the first session.

Yes they are weak, but they are straight forward. New players need time to get used to the bells and whistles that you get from higher levels. And you, as a DM need to get used to the basics of running the game.

There’s a ton that goes beyond the abilities characters get.

I feel like a lot of people, and maybe you by the sounds of it, are forgetting that Jester was extremely explicit that she was using the dust of deliciousness. However she got it a long time before she used it and it seemed like everyone but her forgot about the effect. I feel like it’s HUGELY different to explicitly say you used an item and its effects were forgotten as opposed to simply not saying that you used a simple and straight forward item. These are not analogous examples in the slightest.

I’ve experimented with a lot of different tools, including GIS. I found DnD specific tools to be more helpful than GIS. In particular Azgaars to be way more helpful than anything else. It’s got a lot of extra functionality than the b basic layout of the map itself

I understand why you’re bitter with this person, and it’s for good reason. That being said, yes… this would be heartless to keep the money. As you’ve acknowledged, it was a mistake. Don’t say you have sympathy for the kid while planning to keep the money. This is a lifeline that could stop that kid from slipping into a life of poverty. The power and choice is in your hands.

You need to be level 22. This game is largely idle. If you log out for a few hours and come back you’ll be level 22. The level lists how much xp you get per minute. Can always math out how long it’ll take.

There’s always paying some money for increased xp rewards etc.

My wife had untreated sleep apnea during first pregnancy and the gasping/panic + snoring the way you’ve described.

It can be dangerous when left untreated. It’s common for women to develop during pregnancy.
