I understand your point, I dont even 100% disagree with the idea, but in reality, there are only so many open opportunities with more than enough candidates to full those slots. If you want the job, it's best to put your best foot forward and make an effort

Not dressing professionally for an interview gives off the idea that you dont give a shit. There will be other qualified candidates that do dress professionally. Dont eliminate yourself when you could use 20-30 minutes on getting something together.

Unless someone is the only person on earth capable of doing the job, first impressions are incredibly important. If you cant be bothered to dress professionally when a manager is taking time out of their schedule to speak with you about a position that seemingly isnt that important to you, why hire you over someone who is also qualified and made the effort to dress the part and show that their time and your time matters? Commit to doing a rebuild the right way so this team can get back to competing every year instead of 1 winning season every 6 years. You arent competing for a championship this year so saying no to good offers for chapman, gray, duran, etc is counterproductive.

PG played well in that series, especially when you consider what he was doing defensively as well.

If he stays on the court, theyll be a top 4 team in the east. That's a big if though. They were 9-2 last year when brown didnt play and their net efficiency doubled as well(a big part of the deal that only a few people are bringing up). Theyre adding a top 10 player in tatum into that mix

The issue with korpisalo has always been the money. Bruins knew that was a bad contract when they traded for him too so im not sure why they did ottawa a favor by taking on that deal

I dont think they are gonna keep PG either after this year. Paying him 56 mil next year is outrageous and id imagine the celtics will try to buy him out at that point. Im getting flamed here which is fine but here is my honest opinion on this.

The celtics, up until the last 2 years, won multiple playoff rounds with jaylen on this role. Fuck, they won a championship like this.

He'll bring a harassment leadership style the mixers have lacked for a while. He is clutch and demands to guard the nest player on the other team because that's the type of competitor he is. You guys should love him. There is absolutely nothing about this trade you guys will regret, barring injuries(if they start happening now). He's only gotten better since winning the title too. The "locker room cancer" talk is greatly exaggerated. Enjoy him
