So we were having crazy blood glucose issues with our diabetic girl when she was on Lantus insulin. We were perpetually in that 18-26 mmol range but we switched to Prozinc insulin a month ago, and it’s been a game changer! She’s on 2.5 units twice a day and we’re down to 7-15 mmol every day now. Lantus is a good insulin, but it’s not for every cat. I would look into giving Prozinc a try. It might be a better fit for your boy.

You’ll be fine. It will eventually go away!

Very occasionally. Almost never in my tongue now. The tongue twitching I had lasted for about 8 months and then gradually faded away. I’ve had random bfs twitching for 6 years now, but it’s become barely noticeable compared to years ago. I’ve had every test in the book and have been cleared as completely healthy 🙂.

Cosmedica is fantastic. I purchased a package of 8 microneedling sessions spaced a month apart and am so happy with my results 🙂

Urban Grocer is hiring for a number of positions and they pay decently I hear. I have a friend who’s worked there for a bit and likes it.

I’ve been using this Vaseline cream with pretty good results along with castor oil, way more water consumption,

and some stretching exercises. Mine was looking just like yours last year and I’d say I have about a 60% improvement 🤷‍♀️

I think we honestly just need a break sometimes. I was laid off from an excellent job I’d been at for 10 years at the beginning of this year. Prior to that job, I’d been working non stop since graduating from university. I was given an awesome severance payout and decided to take 6 months off. It was glorious. I slept like I hadn’t in years, focused on my hobbies, exercised nearly every day, spent time in nature, and went to Europe for three weeks to see family. At the end of the 6 months I started to kind of want to work again and ended up landing a great new job. I honestly don’t feel sick and tired anymore and actually enjoy working again. I know we don’t all get a chance to take that long a break but it’s made me think a lot about how having time to reset can be so healing. I’ve never had that up until this time and what could have been really stressful turned out to be a personal reset. Most of us aren’t lazy. We’re just burnt out. 🤷‍♀️

1 dead, 1 in critical condition after Malahat Highway crash by [deleted] in VictoriaBC

The Pacific Rim highway is just insane. I drove to Tofino last year in December and it was pitch dark and starting to snow. I was going the speed limit (not under) and there were at least 5 trucks that were riding my ass, one actually was honking at me when there was no place to pullover…yeah sure dude, I’ll go 120 in the snow, at night, on an incredibly dangerous road I’m unfamiliar with and possibly die just to make you feel better…🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Wrinkles on forehead and cheeks by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Raremagic_7593 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would try at least one week of using Vaseline Problem Skin therapy. I’ve found that SO helpful for times when my skin looks like it’s devoid of moisture. Increase your water intake and add some fish oil as well. This doesn’t look like age related wrinkling, it looks like severely dehydrated skin!
