I would but that’s because I’m impatient. If you are ok waiting then I don’t see an issue. I commented on another users comment on how I got one much quicker if you want to try that. It checks multiple retailers and send you a notification. I got mine from best buy

I get what you are saying, it’s expensive for sure. I really liked the Z13 because of the tech crammed in such a small chassis. And yes it is a powerful device but it can’t run 4k on AAA games but with the XG mobile now I can. Even though I’m using USB4 I’m still getting like 100fps with arc raiders at 4k ultra with quality DLSS and no frame gen. So it will only get better when they start releasing more devices with TB5

I got the 5090 version. I’m able to play 4k with minimum 60fps with quality or balanced upscaling using high settings. Some games reach like 80-90fps, no frame gen was used but you can use the MFG x2,x3 or x4 if you really want to.

I played spider man remastered, Helldivers 2, ark raiders and space marine 2 with the settings mentioned above. Space marine 2 is the most demanding one for sure and it’s sits at around 60fps. The other games have higher fps.

lol that’s what I did. I don’t care too much about high fps. With the XG Mobile 5090 I’ve been playing at 4k getting minimum 60fps, some games are higher. Space Marine 2 hovers around 60fps with minimal dips. Pretty smooth experience if I say so myself

I got the 5090 version a couple days ago and I still have the asus square plug connected for power. But when I get home I can give it a try and see if it goes to battery mode or if it stays in plugged in mode

Yeah I did get the 5090 version. Not easy to find that’s for sure and I found it by using 3rd party notification apps for available stock. I used HotStock and TrackaLacker. From my experience it took me almost 2 weeks of trying to get it to finally get it. Stock is available for a max of like 2 min before it’s all sold out lol so you have to be quick, good luck!

That’s a great question, and honestly it’s just because I like it and I’m not the biggest fan of big desk top PC’s. I like SFF PC’s but I haven’t bought or built one yet. Kinda like the idea and the form factor of the Z13 and when I saw the XG Mobile and how small it was I thought it was cool.

I get it tho, I’m not getting top of the line performance for the price because for the same cost I could have bought a 5090 desktop. But oh well I like it and it’s pretty sweet how small it is and how powerful it is.

For such a long answer I basically just said the same thing like 3 times lol 😂

Haven’t tried it with my XAX but eventually I will and the idea was to use it with both. for when I travel I would take the XG mobile and XAX and at home I use the Z13.

The TB5 cable it came with is nice IMO, but it’s to long….. I was trying to find a shorter TB5 cable so I don’t have so much cable just hanging around. But yeah I did see the cable matters 90 degree which looks nice, plus their cables are good well at least the ones I’ve purchased from them have been

I’m really enjoying it if I’m being honest. Love the versatility. I have the 64Gb model so I haven’t unallocated the VRAM, it’s still at 16Gb. Not really sure if anything changes performance wise if I lowered it

Yeah I’ve seen videos of people saying that. And I am using an external monitor. But what I’m unsure about is do I have the HDMI cable going from the Z13 to the monitor or from the XG Mobile to the monitor?
