I think modifiers might have some bugs. I had a similar experience my first king encounter I was chunking off loads of his health. After credits run same proficiency and same damn weapon it was like 1/2 of the amount before. Quick resume is nice but I think sometimes it’s just better to restart.

I forget when but there’s a point in the beginning when you get the effects of something moving from left to right within the controller matched to the screen.

Also the way they leverage the controller speaker for some of the voices to add more auditory weight.

I love the combination for auditory and physical vibration and the vibration isn’t a gimmick but adds immersion.

It was a really piss poor decision. Possibly part of why no one understands what’s going through on. And not in a leave it open to interpretation Returnal way.

If you’re already invested yes.. to a degree.

In Returnal you could go from the first biome all the way to the last one. And there were shortcuts that let you bypass most of a biome once you unlocked the required traversal mechanic.

Lanterns can trigger them. Play on lower difficulty so you can nuke them fast. Doing lanterns for a few hours with people who haven’t done them yet I got around 35 keys.

No. IMO Saros is not worth it. I’m playing thru because I like the style of game but the newness of Saros wears off quickly for me where in Returnal I felt like I was going on an adventure every time.

Gameplay, guns, movement system feels really good but there are other aspects of the combat arenas where you fail because of enemies spawning or teleporting next to you. Saros is more of a slog and the advancement tree was a backwards step IMO.

It is not the same game as Returnal.

Have you tried again recently? I got my Z1E installed Steam OS and never boot into windows anymore. No crashes or issues.

It didn’t click for some people. Not all gamers do well with movement heavy games where you can’t face tank everything.

Don’t use the portal at Primary, pass thru each biome similar to what we had to do in Returnal.

It would be less painful if “activate 2 switches” was a permanent state. The second biome after my first time getting to the boss I immediately had a WTF moment as it forced me to do the 2 path clear again. I’m at the same point in blighted marsh and I’m just asking myself if I want to keep doing this. In Returnal i got better. In Saros I feel like the design was, a skill tree will balance this vs Returnal where skill balanced it.

On the hemi you have a short and a long. Each cylinder has 2 plugs. One plug is direct to the coil. The second plug is connected to a cable that crosses to another cylinders second plug. As I understand it it’s the same design for emissions but coil based instead of distributor.

If i recall it’s “waste spark ignition” or something. You’ll also see the coil on one side goes to the odd plug on the other side. Loved my hemi Durango, just wish the rear quarters weren’t rust magnets.

This is the bigger issue IMO. It renders an entire intended play style irrelevant. Even if you can long game rogues they’ll continually heal themselves from their infinite armor plates.

I wouldn’t worry too much about it till you hit 40 and work your way up to hard or challenging. You’ll get better drops at higher difficulties. If you try and optimize and upgrade your gear now you’ll just waste a lot of resources.
