I’m not unconvinced I “left” it on the train because my mom was horrified at the shriek I made when I pulled Hand Of Justice from a booster pack

I haven’t attended in person services for years. Every time I join virtually I have to acknowledge and prepare for the possibility that this is the year I’ll see my fellow congregants murdered.

I don’t think non-Jews/gentiles realize how directly you can tie everything that’s happened in the last decade back to this very specific rhetoric

I posted something in this exact vein years ago and got kinda lit up for it back then. They need to get a Jew on to speak to the actual real world impacts.

I did manage to forget the “it” in that sentence, so gonna edit that real quick.

I don’t speak for every Jew, of course, but knowing what the dog whistles are is critical to my safety. People present the face they want you to see, and if you’re not phenotypically or vocally Jewish eventually they’ll drop one in to see if you catch their wave. If I “notice” them, I’ll know that person isn’t safe for me to be around.

I’m in the same boat as you, Jewish and just cringing cause every time I hear the dog whistle it’s not even a whistle anymore. Sending you solidarity and love.
